“Melvin’s is pure nostalgia. The best down home burgers & dogs spot in the whole of NC. If I could give them more than 5✨, it’d be over a thousand. No matter if you’re stopping in for a quick lunch, or wanting to buy 20 burgers with all the fixings, they don’t bat a single eyelash. If I ever get married again, I’m coming here to get the burgers for the reception. It’s that good! I crave it.“

“Very cute shop, definitely worth the stop!! Staff was so friendly and patient with my kids. They have some precious local art for sale, an extensive and creative menu! We are big Harry Potter fans and to see them feature a menu just for it was SO COOL. We will be back to try more goodies! Everything looked clean and fresh! We were all super happy with our choices. <3“

“The food was hot and fresh but my order was wrong. This has happened a few times and then they took forever to come back to the window to give me my second order which was a mobile order. I guess they did the best they could but they do have some good days too just don’t know which one you’re going to get until you get there.“
