“I have always loved this place. But I just tried their Main Street Gobbler (carved turkey breast & sharp cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, & topped with magical bacon jam). It was deli’s…incredible! The turkey and cheese came in chunks, not just thin slices. Very fresh.“

“I absolutely love this place. My wife and I come here every weekend, and even on weekdays when we can. The food is phenomenal especially for a bagel shop in North Carolina, and that’s coming from a New Yorker. There’s maybe one spot I’ve had down here that rivals it, but this has become our go-to local shop. The staff are always kind and welcoming to my family and me, which keeps us coming back.
That said, I do have one consistent issue. The ordering process can feel a bit chaotic and unorganized. There’s a perfect natural ordering station by the refrigerated deli case, but orders tend to get taken from all over the front area. Because of the layout, it would make much more sense to have a clear starting point there, with a line forming back past the bagel case. That way, customers can see the options before ordering instead of having to pause mid-order, and it would also prevent people from getting skipped if they’re unsure where to stand.
A simple fix, like signage for “Order Here” and “Line Starts Here,” or staff directing customers, would go a long way in improving the flow.
That’s really my only complaint. The food and the team are fantastic, and we’ll absolutely keep coming back.“
