“We came in and checked in with hostess..recieved a beeper to be notified when our table would be ready. 4 couples came in behind us...40 min wait...ok no problem. Next thing I see is 4 people come in and see someone they know. They grab chairs from other tables and cram around a 2 top. 6 people on a 2 top. Then a table opens next to them so they take that table over. I asked hostess to handle it. She couldn't so I asked for a manager...BOB...what a joke. He says their friends came in so they were going to do whatever they wanted because I was apparently rude to his hostes. He's not much of a manager if he allows anyone to come in and TAKE A TABLE while 4 other couples that have been waiting 35 min for a table. I'll be in touch with Stephen...aka..the managing partner about BOB and his lack of everything. Hes pathetic. Will never return.“

“We hosted our wedding dinner in this fabulous place. Maria was wonderful helping us all the way with the menu. Drinks, appetizers and more. Our servers were polite, attentive, friendly and professional, the food was amazing and the drinks were to die for! We recommend this place for your next event or just a nice night out with family and friends 😊“

“We had the best dinner we have had since moving to North Carolina. However, the service was not that great. After being seated we were ignored for 20 minutes. No water, no contact, nothing. Finally got a server and the she took our order. Had to wait another 15 minutes for a drink and then more wait for the meal. The food was excellent. The music was a bit too loud but it was classic and smooth jazz. People were friendly and atmosphere was good. We will definitely try it again.“

“We eat here frequently. The food is delicious. Various choices and prepared as requested. This was a birthday celebration. Our server was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Because it was a special occasion, we brought a special dessert. Our server brought us additional plates, a lighter to light the birthday candle, and forks for those of us who forgot to keep one. This is one of the best restaurants in Winston Salem.“

“Stumbled upon this place in Reynolda Village and what a find. The food is outstanding! I had the Greek salad with grilled salmon; it was perfectly dressed and every bite was full of flavor including the grilled salmon with perfect char. Delicious! And raspberry sorbet for dessert because why not!?!

I was seated at the busy bar during Sunday brunch in front of the kitchen window. The entire staff, from bar tenders, servers, chefs, management etc, are all happy and respectful towards one another. The vibe of the staff says everything about the restaurant…almost as important as the food. It was busy to say the least but all staff were getting the hard work done and joking along the way. Refreshing to see.

I highly recommend this restaurant and have already been back during my short stay here. Their outdoor seating area is quite large too if it’s not too hot & humid out.“

“The food, service, and atmosphere at the Meridian are top notch! We had a party of 8 and were able to be seated immediately. Our server, (didn't get his name) ensured that our orders were correct, waters and beers stayed full and that we were all very happy. This was our last night in Winston-Salem and unfortunately won't be back however, if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be back. I had the antelope by the way, it was excellent!“

“My wife’s first visit. We tried the fried deviled eggs and they are delicious. Our waitress was fantastic and the rest of our meal was great. More money than you would normally spend on a burger, but worth the extra bucks. Highly recommend.“

“We ordered an office order to go. Everybody's food looked really good. I loved mine, I ordered the baked spaghetti and it came with a side salad. The prices of the food were really good, especially with the portion size, I kept leftovers for dinner. I would definitely come back again.“

“I took my son here for his birthday on a Thursday. We were the only ones there which was fine, the staff was very nice and our waitress was very attentive. The food was great! I had the shrimp and grits and it was sooo good! My son had the chicken and waffles, mac n cheese, and yams. He loved it all and they gave plenty of food. We will definitely be back and I would recommend everyone go try it!“
