“This place by far has the BEST home cooked food all around, I drive an hour and fifteen minutes to this restaurant. First time a friend took me here I was skeptical, but DO NOT let that fool you. This restaurant as you will read inside has been handed down generation to generation and it shows. I myself do not care for BBQ chicken, am not a fan of anyone else’s baked beans or Mac and cheese other than my mothers recipe, but this place blew me out of the water. The sauce they use is infused beautifully inside and outside the chicken, the Mac and cheese baked not to creamy but just enough and the beans and slaw oh my goodness! You’ve got to try it at least once and if you do I am almost certain you will love it! Keatons BBQ will ALWAYS be where I go to get my favorite home cooked food!”

“NC Donut Star is simply the Best! A coworker turned me onto theDonut Star and I have to fight the urge to go there sometimes because I battle with my weight. The donuts are light and fluffy. They are so soft and delicious. I am going to the beach today and I am going to pick up an assortment so my mom can try them. I have raved about this place and she is curious as to see what they taste like. I am sure that she will be delighted as I am. The store is clean and it is a great environment. All of the donuts in the case look so inviting that it is hard to choose what little beauty you will pick out. I am impressed! I highly recommend checking them out. Krispy Kreme Who? yeah, I said that.”

“Let me start by saying that I'm a typical husband and waited until the last moment to get my wife her birthday cake. I called on Friday just a few hours before the shop closed without much faith in being able to get a cake. When I called Karen she asked what type of cake I was looking for. I told her a Strawberry Shortcake style/flavor cake. She said that she could do her version of it only because she had some cake left that day. I picked it up Saturday morning even though she wasn't actually open. We cut the cake today and let me say, it definitely didn't disappoint. It had so much flavor with the strawberry cake and then the cheesecake layer in the middle with sliced strawberries really made it. It was sweet but not too sweet. Anyone looking for a cake , I highly recommend this shop!”
