I had unloaded some grocery bags on the staircase & when the driver came back downstairs he was beyond considerate & offered to help carry groceries upstairs. Gm Kellen and bar manager Sam were so down to earth and made the entire experience! however I then got the food, I got a burger, pretzel rods and even ordered a pizza to go. I think it’s the best burger hands down I’ve ever had, pizza was perfect size and full of flavor. Great atmosphere, and has turned my normal lunch spot on its head because they’ll see me here way more often!!“

“Wow! My hunt for the best Smash Burger in North Carolina has ended. Monday night is half price smash burgers , the freedom burger is my favorite, and they donate $1for each burger sold to the Freedom Fund which helps veterans tremendously ! This scratch kitchen sports tavern is fantastic. 48 giant televisions and a giant HD projector makes this an ideal place to watch your favorite sporting event! Especially the Super Bowl! They are giving away prizes each quarter of the game and a lucky guest will win free wings for a year, and wow the wings are phenomenal. The service is consistently excellent, and they have food and drink specials , and an excellent draft beer selection. What an amazing dining destination!

“This is my favorite Hickory Tavern. I've known the host, Gary for several years and he never fails to put a smile on my face with his upbeat personality. Love the bartenders and the way the entire staff works together to provide solid service even during short staff rush hours and the kitchen puts out some really nice dishes....“

“Decided to try Boss Hog BBQ out since every time we drive by it seems to be crowded. Now we see why! We ordered the Chopped BBQ Tray along with a Philly Cheesesteak. The food tasted great and the different sauces they have are amazing. We will definitely be back again since they have a large menu with lots of other good looking items we want to try!“

Food was fantastic and got samples of the meat we didn't order to try. I got a piece of German Chocolate cake for later in the hotel and it was as good as our food was. “Great prices, sizeable wings, delicious sauces. Usually when you get wings (especially boneless wings) from chains, you end up with something resembling chicken nuggets. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the wings are. Two flavors per twelve wings is also generous. I got four flavors for $24. My only complaint was the dipping sauce--I got four containers that were at most half full, and two of them were barely a quarter full. I had ordered both blue cheese and ranch and only received ranch. It was still good ranch though.I will definitely order from It's Just Wings again.“

“Food treated good. Wish they had either cut my calzone or provided plasticsware for me to be able to eat it. The garlic bread is a single hoagie roll with melted cheese and garlic butter on it cut into 8 small pieces. That was somewhat disappointing although still tasty.“

However, I found that after eating about 5 wings, I felt like I couldn’t continue—something about the texture or seasoning seemed to make it overwhelming after a few. Perhaps a lighter seasoning or a different preparation method could make them even more enjoyable for larger portions. Overall, a good dish, but it could use a bit of refinement for better balance.“
