“We stopped here to grab some breakfast after we delivered a shipment in Newland. My husband went in and ordered myself a bacon/egg croissant that was just like I would make..the kind ladies working made my husband an omelette with whatever he wanted per what add ons they had in stock. The atmosphere outside was so peaceful and quiet plus the coffee shop supports the Communities for Children's home. ?“

“My daughter never eats her kids meals. Maybe a chicken nugget or two…. Maybe a bite of grilled cheese. She’s three, so you know how it goes. She ate the heck out of her ham and cheese sandwich from here. The bread was SO soft and the ham and cheese were really high quality. My husband and I had a very delightful meal, and the staff was so friendly. We had a great experience and will be going out of the way to return here for another great meal. Back again for ice cream after a trip to the playground nearby!“

“Best Coffee I’ve ever had. Lightyears ahead of that Starbucks junk. They also have the most delicious brownie sundaes and cinnamon rolls! We come here very often and even came for the 4th of July to celebrate! It’s only fitting that Big Mike’s would put on a BIG fireworks display! The staff is incredibly friendly and the interior of the shop is very cozy and clean. 10/10!“

“Love the quality offerings. The fresh bread is amazing. I got the Lox Benedict and my hubs the Montecristo. Both were so good. The strawberry matcha over ice was lovely as well. We also grabbed a couple cookies for the road. They were the best I’ve had in a long time. We got the peanut butter and the chocolate espresso. I wish I bought more than one.“

“What a delightful little gem of a store. From pottery, canvas artwork, handmade soaps, ice cream and the most mouth watering delicious handmade desserts. Our whole group got different things and let me tell you. The peanut butter pie was hands down praiseworthy. The banana pudding was the best I’ve ever had which the man at the register told us it would be. The cheesecake was fresh, creamy and scrumptious. And the pineapple upside down cake was the perfect balance of sweet and cake texture.The man behind the counter, shout out to you, sir. You’re doing a great job!“

“Everyone who works here is so sweet! I’m absolutely obsessed with their caramel iced coffee, truly the best coffee. I live in CT and no where around me is this good!
I have celiac disease and i mentioned a gluten allergy my first time going and the girl at the counter understood and explained to me that all their flavors are GF. I grabbed a couple GF muffins the other day too, a blueberry and a cream cheese cinnamon one. I’m not a fan of blueberry muffins at all but these are to die for. The GF muffins taste like a regular one and they’re soft, don’t fall apart, and delicious.

“Contacted the manager Kelsey literally 10 minutes before showing up with a big group. Her team did an amazing job and had great attitudes, good for anytime but to do this in this Covid world GREAT JOB! Group was happy enough they are going to have breakfast in morning.“
