What a great stay at The Sanderling! It’s a mixture of old and new with all the character you could hope for! It’s a very laid back resort so don’t expect every single detail of your stay to be perfect, although they were pretty close! The exterior is a bit dated but I love the charm of a weathered resort and speaking with other guests, they agreed. Great staff, and very friendly. Especially the bellman, cleaning staff, front desk, spa front desk, servers, manager, and facilities!...read full review

The only black manager on the property at the new Theodosia restaurant was fired by the new Events Manager because he didn’t like the way the gentleman smelled. After perusing the gallery hall on the way to the toilets and not seeing a single face of color among the photographs I can see how these people think what they did was okay. Never eating here or staying at this resort again.

Enjoyed our stay! We will be back!
