“What a great stay at The Sanderling! It’s a mixture of old and new with all the character you could hope for! It’s a very laid back resort so don’t expect every single detail of your stay to be perfect, although they were pretty close! The exterior is a bit dated but I love the charm of a weathered resort and speaking with other guests, they agreed. Great staff, and very friendly. Especially the bellman, cleaning staff, front desk, spa front desk, servers, manager, and facilities! Rooms are very clean, great beds and shower! You don’t want to miss the Lifesaving station breakfast! Wow, what an incredible chef and staff. They offer other meal services but breakfast blew me away! I had one small issue with my ceiling fan and facilities came over quickly and shared how to use the switch that was wired with a light. Super helpful, quick and friendly. Pools are great, and the location is perfect right on the beach. Just a few steps away! I will definitely be back and looking forward to an activity tonight! Theodosia is well worth the trip!
