Where is the 6th, 7th, 8th star and so on. Five stars just don't seem like enough. This is local culinary magic. The aroma of smoked meat just tickled my taste buds with Nostalgia. I gotta go back. Gotta go for Rib Night on Thursday, then Brisket night on Wednesday. I mean damn I could just sit in there drinking a cup of water and get hungry from the aroma of someone's foot all in that food. Yeah I'm going back and of you don't go guess what, YOU PLAYING YASELF
This is the best bbq in the Raleigh Durham area. Don't be fooled by the small size and humble decor. Johnson's is delicious. The owners take pride in their bbq craft and often stay up all night to smoke the pork the traditional way. If You're looking for good pork, you won't find any better than right here.
