Made a reservation here a week ahead for a special occasion and was super excited to try it out. This place is the real deal for sushi lovers. Seaweed Salad w/ Ginger Dressing, Dumplings, M Lobster Special, Tuna Roll. All incredibly delicious. Service was incredible in every way, as well. Told us we could not be in a better spot for dinner and that she has eaten here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. She could NOT have been cooler. Great vibe. We will be back so often...read full review
Excellent sushi, reasonable lunch deals and very high quality food. The service, even when busy, is fast and friendly as well.

M Pocha is a cozy restaurant known for its inviting atmosphere and a variety of Korean-inspired dishes. The menu features delicious options like spicy pork buns, budae jjigae (army stew), and wagyu bao buns. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, with highlights such as the Korean BBQ short ribs, crab shumei, and chili crunch fries. The squid ink cocktail with mezcal is a unique drink offering that enhances the overall experience.
The restaurant's compact space primarily offers counter seating and one long table for groups, creating a cute and intimate setting that is perfect for couples and friends. While it may not be the most comfortable for a private, sit-and-chat dinner experience, it's ideal for a tasty meal before heading to DPAC or out for the evening. Despite the small size, the attentive and friendly service makes for an enjoyable atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner before a DPAC show.
M Pocha stands out as a great choice for those looking to try new flavors and dishes in a fun part of Durham. With creative and unique offerings, the restaurant's authentic Asian cuisine and relaxing ambiance make it a popular destination for those seeking a delightful dining experience. Everything is made to order, and the service is very friendly, ensuring a memorable visit.
