Based on the reviews, Sal’s Pizza & Ristorante is a great spot for authentic New York style pizza. The pizza has a great ratio of everything, is nice and crispy, and not too oily. The dough is not paper thin. One reviewer described the pizza as the best they’ve had anywhere, with a perfectly cooked undercarriage. The lunch deal offers 2 huge slices and a drink for under $10, which is reasonably priced. The food is very good and fresh. Besides pizza, the eggplant parmesan is also pretty good, and the gnocchi is pretty good too. The penne with vodka sauce and meatballs was decent, with a quite big portion. The 12 spicy Hawaiian came with chicken and jalapenos, and the 16 pepperoni and jalapenos were pretty good. Customer service is great, and the gentleman upfront is very polite and courteous. Overall, everything was enjoyed and customers would go back.
