“Waffle House in Durham was exactly what you want from a classic Waffle House experience.
There was plenty of parking, and inside it had that typical smaller Waffle House layout with booths, counter seating, friendly staff, and a lively crowd. Some of the patrons were clearly having a good time, which made the whole visit feel like dinner and a show.
I stopped in for dinner, not breakfast, and kept it simple since I’m eating keto: eggs and bacon. The service was prompt, my drink came quickly, and the cook even brought my plate to the table. The eggs were cooked exactly the way I ordered them, and the bacon was right on point.
Sometimes Waffle House is at its best when it is just being Waffle House, and this one delivered exactly that: good food, good service, and a little people-watching entertainment on the side.“
“The food is affordable but for what it is a expected a little better value. Such as my brother got add on sausage and it was $4.50 for the smallest 2 pieces of sausage ever. Our waitress barely spoke English which was strange I wasn't sure if they just needed her to fill in or maybe they get a lot of Spanish speaking customers but we could barely understand each other.“
“I always feel very welcome at a Waffle House and this one was no exception. It has a very good feel to it. I was welcomed in and my server was quick to get my drink order. The coffee is decent and the food was great. The staff is friendly and easy going. I look forward to returning to this location.“
“As a 100% traveler I eat at Waffle House everyday. Since I workout a lot my meals requires high protein so I always ask for a five Eggs old fashion omelette. Isaiah has been one of the best to cook and also tend to my visit. Precious is a very sweet and pleasant young lady. Establishment is clean and for a change I did not experience the everyday drama that I usually see in many other Waffle Houses such as staff arguing among each other. Will definitely come back to this one next time I’m in the area.

“Dude this place rocks! Ezra the server and Hazel the cook kick ass! I was in town nearby for business for one night and came in for an evening meal at 10:30 pm and the vibe was so awesome that I put $30 into TouchTunes and just chilled picked songs and took requests. Come to. Find out it was their first night working together and they vibed great! It was awesome. On top of that they were training Laura and she was just getting her footing as she went. Had a freaking blast! It was what you would expect...pure Waffle House energy all positive! Wouldn't have traded it for anything. Thank you Waffle House-Durham!!! (I am now 3 hours in and still have about 15 credits left)“
