“This was our 1st time at Shak's. Food was great, service was on point, pricing in range. Very nice clean atmosphere.It was not crowded but had a lot of take-outs and pick-ups. At this time they are hiring for all positions. Good opportunity, summer job for students or anyone.Our waitress had never worked this environment and on the job to weeks. You wouldn't have known it. “A family friend recommended Andy's after I asked about ice cream. They advised that Andy's was custard - not ice cream - and it came in different flavors. Being from the west coast, I had never heard of Andy's. I was excited about giving it a try.

This place is pretty popular judging by the drive-thru line and the number of people at the walk up window. Although it was busy, the lines were moving pretty quickly, including the drive thru.

I tried the Key Lime Pie concrete. It was definitely delicious and I recommend it. This spot is pretty busy but they prepare the orders in a reasonable amount of time.

The area outside of the location was clean and there were seats for you to sit down. Inside also looked very clean, and they had a big window so that you could see the them make the yummy waffle cones.

Overall this is a great place to come for custard. You can't go wrong!“

“The ice cream is really creamy. The young woman who waited on us was cordial and helpful. The store was very clean. The shop has some interesting creations if you want more than a cone. I tried the "hot tin roof" which is layered vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup and copped nuts. Good! This was our first visit there. It won't be our last.“

“My family absolutely LOVES Whit's, we come fairly often, especially to try out the daily flavor! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because a few of the staff don't seem to want to even be there. Once I had met a family member and my husband there, and we decided to sit on the balcony with our icecream/Custard. We got there a good while before closing, as the sun was still up, 7pm I think. And we lost track of time and accidently stayed past 9, their closing hours. We walked down the steps to find they had locked the gate and didn't even bother to check if anyone was up there! Let alone I was 7 months pregnant at the time... I thank God that my husband and family member were strong men and could help hoist me over the gate.
So, all that to say, we prefer to just get our ice creams and leave.“

“Doesn’t get any homier than this. The service was wonderful, they were quicker than fast food restaurants. The workers were wonderful and friendly I’ve been back for 3 days straight now. They were so nice to my daughter and I, the lady who works there even giggled along as my daughter tried strawberry ice cream for the first time, they have also been kind enough to offer to wash my daughters bottle twice. I love that they are so accommodating and welcoming. The sweet tea tastes just like mama used to make, and the food well come on it doesn’t get any better than good old fashioned greasy food. This place has easily became my favorite restaurant.

Parking: About 15 parking spots, no awkward angles, overall pretty easy parking.

Kid-friendliness: The staff are so accommodating with children my daughter is 8 months old and they loved her to pieces. The menu in its simplicity is wonderful for children as well.
