“First time trying Flip Flop’s donuts after moving to E.I. It’s actually my birthday today and hasn’t been going well so far but the lady with the short hair and glasses changed that around with her sweet attitude and then she put an apple fritter in my box of donuts for me for my birthday, for free. It was so nice and unexpected.

Now, on to the taste. The cake batter donuts are to die for. I literally got there right before close and they were still fresh, airy and delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness. The apple fritter was the highlight of my day. They have a customer for life 😁“

“Picked up some cupcakes and a cookie from Happy Cakes in Morehead, NC, and they nailed it. The cupcakes were soft, flavorful, and topped with frosting that was smooth and perfectly sweet. The cookie was just as good, with that fresh-baked taste that’s hard to find anywhere else. Staff was friendly and clearly take pride in what they do. Everything tasted homemade in the best way. Definitely a must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth.“
