“To Road18215463485 sorry for your experience but we have a small grill and if at all possible at 10:30 we are ready to switch over to lunch which means we load up the grill with chicken and a few burgers for the lunch rush which most of the time we have lunch orders already hanging up just waiting on breakfast to be over if you had gotten here before 10:30 we would have been glad to fix breakfast but if we wait until 10:45 then our lunch group suffers if you’re back through here and want to stop in that would be great but if you’re running late give us a call and we can have it cooking for you and sorry for the inconvenience for our employees but they work hard and since the plandemic times has been a little hard with help”

“We were staying in the area and found this little gem. We are originally from just south of Buffalo NY, and I ordered the Bacon Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak sandwich. It was the best Buffalo Chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, and I had eaten at lot of places while up North. My wife’s patty melt was also excellent. Prices were very reasonable. Staff were very friendly. The owner even came out to meet us. A++!”

This is the only store around this area for quite a while so if you need a drink or some food or the various other things this is your last chance for many miles heading towards Lambsburg MTN.”

I will say sitting area inside is a little small BUT the service and GREAT food made up for it. the waitress that waited on us was friendly and came by to check on us regular. We had breakfast with them. and it was great. much much better than some of the larger chain restaurants we have eaten at. Did I say the food was great. “I tried GX Market for the first time today and it was one of the best Vietnamese food places I had ever been to. I ordered the Pork Noodles, Pad Thai, Red Curry, and Egg Rolls. I actually ordered the Pork Noodles earlier in the day and went back because it was so delicious! The egg rolls are the best I have ever had. I am definitely going to be a regular of this hidden gem in Galax.”

“Very good food! I love LJS! It's a very underrated restaurant. We don't have but this one anywhere in our area. I have no idea where the next closest is.
It is very expensive these days. It wasn't ever super cheap, but it is most definitely priced high for paper plate kind of restaurant that is self-serve. The fact it's the only one in our area, I would think the owner of it would try to keep it looking more up to date and clean. Outside was little run down, and the door on condiment cabinet was literally hanging by 1 hinge and standing open.
The employees weren't very friendly. They were very attentive to the order screen but not so much the customer. Had to wait for someone to eventually speak to us and finally take our order.”

“Never fails to satisfy! I live in Mount Airy, NC but when I’m in the mood for this place I do not hesitate to drive here one bit. I LOVE this place. I have came here over the years with friends/ family and by myself at times too. The food is amazing. The atmosphere especially in the summer months are fantastic most of the times the doors are opened to the street side and it’s just something about small town Galax that is just a great atmosphere to be in. Some times there are car shows downtown and you get to see them go by and hear and see the sights and sounds of that as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Galax Smokehouse if you are in the area. Nice staff over the years. I do appreciate you all serving the community over the years. You guys do an awesome job!”

“Came here for dinner and it didn’t disappoint . One with us is Gluten intolerant and they have a nice selection of entrees . The waitress even marked the ticket GF so there were no mix ups. It wasn’t a problem for them like at so many restaurants when you even asks. Great cocktails too”
