Stopped in for 2 milkshakes, you'd thought we ordered the entire menu the way the young man at the counter whined. They were not busy, no one except us, no customers in drive thru, and apparently we interrupted his phone time. He said it takes so long to make those. When they were ready, he slammed them down on the counter. I expressed my gratitude ro him for taking time out of his busy day. got a burger with meat literally half the size of the bun, and the burgers are ALWAYS burnt. my #8 didn't come with lettuce. I'd like my money back but I won't make the mistake of eating here again every time it's disappointing.

Based on the reviews, Hardee's is a hit or miss restaurant. The food can be fresh, hot, and satisfying, like a good Frisco burger. However, other experiences include horrible fries that were dead and refried, and wrap orders are often wrong. One customer ordered a sausage egg and cheese wrap with added bacon and gravy, but received a wrap with just egg and gravy, and later got bacon, egg, and gravy but no sausage. The service is also inconsistent. While some staff are very friendly and fast, other customers faced rude cashiers with attitudes and an order taker who assumed to-go without asking. The atmosphere can be unpleasant due to staff cursing constantly. One customer noted the food was better but the atmosphere is still horrible. Management should keep the buns stocked up for hot dog orders.
