“So glad to have this local bar and grill in our middle ground between Wilkesboro, Lenoir, and Boone. Don't drive by and think you missed it; it's in Leatherwood Mountains, but is in the 'welcome center' for rental cabins and horse riding in the resort. If you find yourself on NC-268, take the short detour. The drive is scenic to say the least. The food is good and there's often music outside on the weekends.“

“Last nite we had guest and decided to try Mad Jax. Was wonderful!!! We picked up 4 big plates of seafood and it was hot and portions were amazing. Was really good will do again.“
