“We eat here twice a week, we can’t get enough of it! We get the steak burrito with no rice, extra meat with a side of ceviche. Everything is fresh and the salsa bar is the best in town. We’ve had almost everything on the menu and everything is delicious. Service is quality and fast even when it’s busy! Gustavo the owner is a genuine guy. Appreciate you guys!”

“Alba and Mario have a fantastic restaurant. Homemade Italian food at its finest. I had eggplant parm and hubby had chicken parm - you could taste the authentic flavored rapped in the dish. We happened upon Mario’s on drive between Chattanooga to Charlotte. It’s a small place but Alba is on top of her customers with a positive attitude. We got to chatting at the end of the night and explained that it was our 27th wedding anniversary… Albas wishes were so kind and sincere and honestly this was the best dinner choice. We finished with a slice of chocolate cake and it was rich and Devine. This is definitely a repeat location!!”

“I have not been to it so can’t speak for the location which is why I’m playing it safe with a 3 for atmosphere, but I’ve had it delivered a few times and have had no complaints with any of their food. My order has always been right.”

I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked yet and the staff are always genuine and friendly. Definitely check out their night life vibe on karaoke nights on Tuesday and Friday nights. It’s always a fun crowd, no matter who shows up. Come with the intention to let loose and connect. It’s always worth it to put your authentic self forward and connect with the locals. Show up and bring/tell your friends. I promise you won’t be disappointed”

“The food is great here and the prices are reasonable. Less expensive than most. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean when I'm in. I cannot review on the bathrooms because I've never even looked for them in there. Portion sizes are great. Most people use the drive-thru for whatever reason but they do. Around dinner time the drive through line will be halfway down food Lion parking lot or more. This is a popular restaurant. I would definitely recommend a visit to Akita Express Japanese grill on Broadway in Forest City North Carolina.”

“Came here with my wife and her sister as we were headed towards Charlotte. My wife put in the order for the 3 of us. We entered the store when the app said the order was complete and two of our drinks were ready, but our sandwiches, croissants, and the other drink didn’t arrive until like 15 mins later. There seemed to be a little bit of a morning rush in the drive-thru but we couldn’t quite under what held up our order, as other people’s orders were showing up just fine at the counter. 🤷🏼‍♂️ At least the guy that gave us the rest of the order sorta apologized for the delay 👍🏼”

There are four chairs at the door for those who choose to wait inside. The restaurant is clean. The employees at this location are rude and want you to go away and that's not just coming from me. They will never at any time I asked you if they can help you, if you need anything or update you on your order status. It's on you to get their attention. Customers are expected to come in and punch a code into the to go hot case. The door will open and you get your food and leave. No thank you, have a nice day, or come back again. It's just a dead zone. Unless you have to ask for something and when someone finally acknowledges you, it turns into a pissy zone. That's just the way it is at this location. Honestly.”

It’s the same great friendly service, hot, fresh food and reasonable prices. The drive through ladies were so kind and welcoming. “It has taken me hours to realize what happened. That young manager got it in her mind that I was trying to steal an extra sandwich. She apparently did not believe that they had failed to prepare the sandwich correctly. That's the only thing that would possibly cause her to come out to my table and immediately begin to be rude to me in my 11-year-old grandson. Read the comment that I also posted.”
