“Wonderful! Our new favorite local place! The staff was so sweet and explained the menu to us. They never made us feel rushed! They even let us taste test the pina and the hibiscus, which both were amazing!! The Birria was outstanding as well!! We loved that they had a custom bar where you could build up your tacos. So much better than having just a salsa bar like most places have! They were also so friendly to our 6 month old! They had him smiling from ear to ear!! Can’t wait to go back! 10/10 recommend!!”

“🙂 I absolutely love this restaurant and the staff. It’s been under new management and they are doing an amazing job. The food is phenomenal. I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked yet and the staff are always genuine and friendly. Definitely check out their night life vibe on karaoke nights on Tuesday and Friday nights. It’s always a fun crowd, no matter who shows up. Come with the intention to let loose and connect. It’s always worth it to put your authentic self forward and connect with the locals. Show up and bring/tell your friends. I promise you won’t be disappointed”

“Since moving to Forest City a few months ago I had been wanting to find a local coffee shop and this AM I found Hope House! I got the 20oz Banana Bread Latte and oh it hit my soul just right with perfection! As a hobby baker for over 22 years I am always looking for that perfect blend! I live in Forest City and teach in Asheville so I have quite a haul every weekday morning! I was met with kindness and hospitality as I pulled in the drive thru, received 10% off as an educator and had an amazing coffee to start my work day! Thank you so much and I definitely will be back and will spread the word around for people to check this place out!”

“The food is great here and the prices are reasonable. Less expensive than most. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is always clean when I'm in. I cannot review on the bathrooms because I've never even looked for them in there. Portion sizes are great. Most people use the drive-thru for whatever reason but they do. Around dinner time the drive through line will be halfway down food Lion parking lot or more. This is a popular restaurant. I would definitely recommend a visit to Akita Express Japanese grill on Broadway in Forest City North Carolina.”

“Came here with my wife and her sister as we were headed towards Charlotte. My wife put in the order for the 3 of us. We entered the store when the app said the order was complete and two of our drinks were ready, but our sandwiches, croissants, and the other drink didn’t arrive until like 15 mins later. There seemed to be a little bit of a morning rush in the drive-thru but we couldn’t quite under what held up our order, as other people’s orders were showing up just fine at the counter. 🤷🏼‍♂️ At least the guy that gave us the rest of the order sorta apologized for the delay 👍🏼”

“This place is awesome. Food is always good and hot. Service could be a little faster but I know not to go here if I’m in a hurry. But food has always been top notch. Never had to wait for a seat more than 5 mins. Pricing I think is pretty fair. Highly recommend giving this place a shot.”

“This is a pickup only location. They usually do have the medium pepperoni pizzas🍕 hot and ready to pick up however, not so with anything else. No matter how far in advance you place your order, online, in store, or by telephone, it's not ready when you get there. It's just not 🤷🏼‍♀️
There are four chairs at the door for those who choose to wait inside. The restaurant is clean. The employees at this location are rude and want you to go away and that's not just coming from me. They will never at any time I asked you if they can help you, if you need anything or update you on your order status. It's on you to get their attention. Customers are expected to come in and punch a code into the to go hot case. The door will open and you get your food and leave. No thank you, have a nice day, or come back again. It's just a dead zone. Unless you have to ask for something and when someone finally acknowledges you, it turns into a pissy zone. That's just the way it is at this location. Honestly.”

“It has taken me hours to realize what happened. That young manager got it in her mind that I was trying to steal an extra sandwich. She apparently did not believe that they had failed to prepare the sandwich correctly. That's the only thing that would possibly cause her to come out to my table and immediately begin to be rude to me in my 11-year-old grandson. Read the comment that I also posted.”

I think like most gast food places they struggle to keep staff, this crew seems more stable than the last time I was there , which was a while ago. I don't eat much fast food but I need something quick. It is really no better or worse than any other fast food place.”
