“We are so happy to have Babbo as a delicious dinner option! Sarah made the experience fantastic and deserves 5 stars! She happily accommodated our dietary needs and had great suggestions for our group. We are excited to try them again and have only one suggest and that is to soften the interior dining lights...and maybe a candle or two for the tables. They have something for everyone and we hope they'll add lunch soon too!“
“A small Greek Restaurant, ya’ll, that has just about anything you may want to eat. The food is delicious and our waitress was helpful, sweet attitude and wanted to make sure we were happy.I got spaghetti with salad. The spaghetti was very good and the side salad was huge! My spouse got a Philly Cheesesteak with fries. It arrived hot and fresh and delicious as well.I give highest recommendation to anyone that’s looking for a great dining experience!“
“I rate the service as normal due to the lack of people actually wanting to work or wanting more money to do basic jobs and causing inflation. The restaurant itself has wonderful food and it is cooked fresh so takes slightly longer, unless you call in ahead of time with your order which is also a possibility for those not willing to wait the extra few minutes. We really enjoy the as-close-to-home food as we can get here and hope the local support keeps this place in business.“
“Finally tried Mario's, and I'm upset with myself for waiting so long. Having spent quite a bit of time in the Mediterranean with the Navy, it's refreshing to get the "farmhouse" experience again! Mario's is a super typical, ambiance neglected family style restaurant that you find everywhere in Southern Italy. The owners, despite the length of time spent in the US, run it just like they would back in the old country. Almost no staff, 70's and 80's decor, random music you can barely hear playing from decades old speakers...and the most authentic tasting Italian food I've had in a very long time. Everything about Mario's is utterly perfect for what it is. If you know, you know. And it is blessing they are located in Forest City NC. The lack of a broader customer base is allowing them to continue running the restaurant the way they want to, rather than watering it down to appease sheer masses. If you are in the mood for your Italian Grandma to complain you are looking too thin and to "Eat! Eat!" as she gives you two people's worth of food on a single plate...Mario's is your place!“
