“It's been hit or miss on the food but overall the food's been pretty decent this time I went a few years ago and a lot of the vegetables were undercooked and the glasses smelled like old pond water but it's gotten a lot better now and his army food goes it's actually pretty good not quite as good as the l39th one but still pretty good You just have to go to the main line and not start off at the short order. The staff is always been very professional and helpful when it comes to getting food.“

Recently, I had the opportunity to order from this beloved establishment through DoorDash, and while the experience was enjoyable, it left me with a few thoughts worth sharing.

I opted for the classic cheeseburger, requesting it “sloppy” with extra mayonnaise—an indulgence I often crave. Upon arrival, the burger was indeed messy and satisfying, just as I had hoped. However, I found the patty itself to be a touch underwhelming in terms of flavor; a bit more seasoning would have elevated this classic dish to new heights. My wife, meanwhile, chose a burger topped with a fried egg, which she thoroughly enjoyed. In fact, she suggested that I might have preferred my cheeseburger with an egg as well, and I can see how that addition could enhance the flavor and richness.

In addition to our burgers, I also ordered a Philly cheesesteak, which I saved for later. The following day, I reheated it in the oven, and it emerged toasty and delightful. The flavors were robust, making it a satisfying meal even when enjoyed a day after its initial preparation.

One of the main takeaways from my experience is that Gollabs Grill consistently delivers good food. We’ve dined here several times, and the quality has remained strong across the board. That said, I do wish I had opted to pick up the food in person, as it likely would have arrived piping hot and perhaps showcased the freshness more effectively than delivery allowed.

In conclusion, Gollabs Grill is a solid choice for a casual meal in Fayetteville. While there’s room for improvement with seasoning on certain items, the overall experience is positive, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their menu—perhaps with an egg on my burger next time.“

“Excellent food and service around 12:30 yesterday! We had a flounder/shrimp platter with fried okra, a porkchop plate with white rice, fried okra, a mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a salad and a chicken fried steak plate with double mashed potatoes and fried okra. The only complaint was the white rice. It was definitely instant rice. That's never appetizing. We're Filipino and know good rice. This wasn't it.“

I haven’t had it in over a decade since I’ve moved out of state, but I’ve been talking this place up since I’ve left and haven’t had a single bad experience from any of the 30+ times I’ve gone here.
