“The ice cream was amazing. The worker that waited on me was not so amazing. He hates his job clearly and has no customer service skills including communication. He was more than rude! The lady that waited on the next customer was awesome! So I would return to give it another go. Hopefully next time someone who likes working there waits on us.“

“Unassuming from the parking lot, this diner is an example of “it’s whats on the inside that counts”. Hands down the best steak and eggs I’ve had, with a plate full of delicious grits and two fluffy biscuits. The staff are warm hearted, salt of the Earth people. Low prices too, remember to tip generously. Will visit again.“

“We have a church group that goes about once a month and it’s always a great experience. We enjoy the food and our waitress is always so pleasant and on top of everything! Great place to go!

Parking: I usually park across the street! The restaurant parking lot is mostly full!“

“The bar and primarily the bartender Candance is the only reason we come to Applebee's. She is attentive, friendly and makes you feel comfortable whether your a regular or a first timer. If it wasn't for Candance we would drive to Fayetteville or Raleigh, and would no issue doing so.“

“The food delicious!! Wesley the prime rib. However, we waited watched as group after group were seated and served as we sat and sat waiting for our food . We ordered the special prime rib and were told it was quickly prepared so she wasn't putting our order in right then. I think she forgot to put it in later. Several other folks got their food who came in after us.“

“First time visiting; a little bit of a long wait to be seated with visible empty tables but other than that, service was great & quick, food was good (10/10 mini corn dog bites!), and the overall atmosphere was comfortable! I had our sleeping, almost 2 year old, on me through the entire dining experience - a wonderful lady held the men’s bathroom door for me so I could wash my hands as the women’s as occupied, the lady who sat behind us later was ever so courteous to our sleeping baby (when she didn’t need to be! Kid will sleep through a freight train), and the family who came to sat down as we were finishing up with 3 very excited older kids quickly went to hush their kids when they saw our sleeping baby (we told them thank you but really no need!!). We also grabbed ice cream cones on our way out while paying the bill. Cookies & cream was delicious.“

“My favorite restaurant in Sanford! Lots of great sandwiches on the menu, but they have some plates and salads too. Good NC beer selection on tap (12 or so) and in containers. I highly recommend the Cuban, cheese steak, and especially the Ahi Tuna Tacos when available on the specials. My only negative is they don't have french fries, but they have many other sides to choose from.“

“The service tonight was exceptional. We haven’t been in a while and I do not remember the staff being as attentive as they were tonight. We ordered 2 combo plates which came out quick, the young man brought them to our table. The young man and several others checked up on us throughout our meal. Customer service was better than most sit down establishments in town.“
