The woman at the counter was so friendly and even threw in an extra dressing so I could try it since it was my first time there! “It's been many years since I've eaten there until last week. Jeff's favorite salad was as good as I remember. Always fresh and crisp. Somewhere I saw that it's been recently remodeled. Thanks for keeping some of the old decor like the booths with the names carved in. I did that back in the 80s but I'm sure it's no longer around. Great job guys. I'll stop in again.“

“No frills luncheonette was an unexpected surprise. Ordered a BLT on sourdough and a cup of Big Bird Soup. The bread was grilled which made all the difference in the world — no weak BLT here. The cup of soup was more like a bowl. Full of shredded chicken and rice. Total bill was $12.57. Can’t beat the price. I don’t usually post reviews, but this place was a winner in my book.“

“Deserve more stars than five. I have been to ihop, dennys, dozens of places and ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs come fully cooked. Well not at tramway diner. They make the egg runny. The way eggs Benedict are suppose to be. Staff is great and friendly. Order other stuff and that food was great too. Clean place. Keep up the great work.“

“I wonder if they are aware that not everyone wants chicken tinga. I guess not! Other than that, there's still a bit of variety that I can choose from. My acid reflux and my hernia will not let me have things like chicken tinga or any amount of peppers or jalapeños. I always feels like I accidentally poison myself.“

“The Flame is an icon of a steakhouse in this town. I grew up here but left over 4 decades ago for a career that took me to the NY suburbs for decades. The Flame still has the ambience and great food that Pokey created so long ago. My only gripes are that they aren't open every night, just a few days each weekend, and they do not offer the splendid salad bar they once did. They have a strong competitor out in Tramway that has better hours, but still does not have the charm of The Flame.“

“One of our favorite little spots for Italian food in Sanford. They did change up the menu a bit but I was still able to build my pasta the way I liked it, it was a little more expensive this way but prices are up everywhere so it’s to be expected. The garlic knots are delicious and a must have! Friendly staff and good service, two pretty important factors in picking a place to dine out these days!“
