“I always look forward to any opportunity I get to eat at Armando's. The food is fantastic, the establishment is very clean, and the cashier/staff are friendly. They have a pretty good selection of food and drinks. I always get the chicken taco plate with rice, beans, and an energy drink. Its a must go if you're in the backyard of Ft. Bragg/Aberdeen for the day.“
“Best lunch I've had in a long time. I had the steak n cheese with fries and a sweet tea and everything was perfect WOW!!! And the service was super awesome. The atmosphere was laid back and chill. My mom loves this place and I think we found our new SPOT. Definitely coming back!!! “
“I love the military support!Great atmosphere, decor was a little confused about its vision but still cool.Beers were solid. The BBA Thiic Stout was AMAZING, the blood orange IPA was very nice. The vanila porter and the oatmeal stout fell a little flat but they were still good. Be warned about their Hazy IPA- they warn you about the bitterness and they are not lying!Extensive food menu for what we were expecting from a brewery- cheese curds were very good.Kitchen clearly cooks from scratch, get your orders in ASAP if you arrive hungry.Indoor and outdoor seating. Good amount of parking.Beer and liquor options. Sports ball on the TV but thankfully there was music on and the commentary was (mostly) muted. The bartender was lackluster, unfortunately. Sweatpants to work is not something I’d allow for if this were my place, and I do expect my staff to greet people a bit faster - which he did… if he already knew your name- a greeting and a drink order and poured before he’d bother to look back at his bar top guests that he hadn’t checked in on in a few minutes- so great with the regulars, which we were not. He wasn’t very fast and honestly, just not welcoming enough for us to go out of our way to stop in the next time we are in town. Hopefully that is just us catching him on an off day, but if I were the owner, I’d rather know how to improve the ambiance than someone not express it.“
“Not sure what the previous bad reviews were about. I was working for the day in Aberdeen and decided to try it out. Lots of happy customers eating and laughing. Note that most of the customers probably don't have Yelp to make reviews. Different generation. Staff were amazingly friendly. Food was awesome. Great taste. Anything you can imagine for breakfast, can be ordered. Plenty of butter and jelly on the table. Loved it.“
“I come atleast once a week because of work in Aberdeen. I go there also because the staff always is so great. Robert the manager is top notch. He spends his time talking to every table making sure they are ok. Top notch guy. Bartenders are great also. Hell of a lot better than outback.“
“Had an absolutely wonderful experience at Chef Warren's. My wife and I opted to order most of the items off the tapas menu and it was excellent. The kangaroo loin and tiger shrimp were particularly good and the special that night of mushroom toast and mussels was delicious. 10/10 will return.“
“This snug eatery has totally won me over! With hosts as warm as a hug, dishes that dance on your taste buds, Insta-worthy presentation, a wine list as long as a giraffe's neck, and desserts straight out of a fairy tale. I'm waving my foodie flag high - this place is a must-visit for all! I'm already planning my next visit - it's like a foodie magnet pulling me back in!“
“Great experience and food. Highly recommend! We had an exceptional dining experience thanks to our waitress Sierra. She made the meal enjoyable beyond just the food, her genuine approach added a special touch to the day. I highly recommend her service!“
“Tonight was an amazing experience! We were celebrating friends anniversary and we had 3 apps ( shrimp and grits winner) 4 different entrees( halibut and lamb amazing) and the Toffee pudding, crazy good! Our server was experienced and incredible. Thankyou guys for your excellence❤️“
“In the Pinehurst area for a golf weekend and Google searched breakfast places and The Village Cafe came up, good ratings so four of us went to grab a late breakfast. Very nice place, clean, and nice people working there. I got the Traditional breakfast plate, two eggs, hash browns, toast and the meat choice was the Liver Pudding. Never had it, the nice waitress said it was a "rectangular mush". I was not sold until she said some people think it’s like "Scrapple". Sold! I like Scrapple when I can find it, it was basically the same thing, the presentation of it was not the greatest on the plate. Otherwise it was good! Would go here again for sure.Parking: Gravel lot on side“
“This was my first time going to Chapman. So I ordered a jam bacon sandwich with cheese, letruce and tomato. The side was French fries and a pickle. Beginning with the burger, it was descent, but I had better at kick back Jack's, in my opinion. However, the fries were bomb and would eat an entire plate of them. That is how good they were. I think we went at a busy time so the service was very long but our waitress was very apologetic to us. Recommend this restaurant for sure!“
“Incredible food! We had the ribeye steak and eggs with grits, biscuit, and toast, everything was amazing, including a sweet iced tea, and only spent about $18 for all of it. If you want the best breakfast in town, stop by this place, you won't be disappointed! Would definitely recommend to anyone!“
“Only had cocktails (signature Manhattans) for a couple hours this weekend. Beautiful place. Weather was great. A definite place to stop for a little while. Only bad thing was Pro Shop closed at 5pm. Didn't realize that and missed out on some 2024 Open swag.“
“What a nice place and wonderful food/service. Our large party sat outside in the covered patio with plenty of heaters and great service. Our server Courtney was spot on with the entire group from start to finish. Be sure to ask for her! With the "steps of service" declining in so many places, it was great to have Courtney take care of every detail. The menu is diverse with protein options, starter salads were large, and our GF person was ecstatic of the number of GF option. Their garden was just off the patios, so I would think during the growing season, at least some their weekly specials would be from the garden. The inside was full and had a vibrant energy. The sound inside was low which is a nice change after restaurants feeling the need to be loud to seem entertaining. I think the layout/design including high ceilings help to reduce the volume. If I ever get back in the warmer weather, I would be sure to enjoy their large patio.“
“Had the Hamburger Steak smothered with grilled onions, and mushrooms over mashed potatoes and green beans! It was amazing… The Philly Cheese Steak with Fries was huge. Full with meat… That fact the meat kept falling out made it more tempting…“
“This is the family's current favorite restaurant. The food is deliberately and artfully prepared and they have some really interesting and appetizing dishes. The kind of plates that I haven't experienced much in Moore county. It is very good for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.“
“This is the first time going to this restaurant. Everything about it was excellent. Our server, Leigh, was so attentive and polite to our party; she deserves a raise. I had the smokehouse burger with onion rings...the best I have ever had! Our table also ordered the croissants; they were scrumptious. The mixed drinks and beer were all unique and very tasty. And all of us enjoyed the atmosphere...so cool. Finally, we thought the prices were very reasonable. We will be back to this restaurant and would definitely recommend it. Great job!“
“While the Ice Cream Parlor wasn’t our first choice for a quick bite to eat, we were pleasantly surprised.A cute corner building off the main streets of Southern Pines, which sports a bright and fun atmosphere that appeals to all ages, would be the perfect spot during the warmer months to stop for a sweet treat.Upon entering the building, we acquired a table that had just been vacated, and a worker immediately came over to wipe off the table before we could get settled in.The food menu was extensive, despite my first impression of it being an ice cream shop, and there were about 20 different flavors of ice cream to choose from.We both ordered the All the Way hotdog, minus the slaw for mine, and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had his with the slaw, and he commented that it was the best hot dog he’s had in a long time. I also ordered the Coffeehouse Cookies and Cream milkshake, which was blended to a smooth consistency that could easily be sucked through a straw. Everything was delivered promptly to the table by the friendly employees. We were there at about 5:15 on a Tuesday, which seemed to be a sweet spot for quick service. It was only a few minutes after we arrived that the lobby was full of families.Since I only had two items, I only gave four stars, but I would love to go back and try out other food options and ice cream flavors. If you need something quick and simple, this is the place to go!Parking: A few spots were available during the time we were there, a Tuesday evening; however I could see it being more difficult on the weekends to find parking without having a short walk.Kid-friendliness: Fun and bright atmosphere that’s appealing to all ages. The music was mostly appropriate (no curse words or extremely explicit phrases), but there was an occasional song I was surprised to hear. I assume it was a random playlist from Spotify or radio station.“
“I usually have the Super Salmon Grain bowl, which when prepared by the right cook is excellent. Lately they’ve had some trouble with obtaining good avocados to serve with this and they’ve been filling the half avocado with Cilantro dressing which looks gross. Unless you like that, ask for Citrus Vinaigrette on the side as that goes well with this dish.Vegetarian options: SaladsDietary restrictions: Options that work well with Weight Watchers or GF diet“
“Our church's Seniors (about 20) meet here each month for lunch and a brief program. Our leader asks for our choices of several entrees and passes that info on to the staff. The food is consistently excellent and so is the service. This week I tried something new - chicken quesadilla with tortilla chips - came with sour cream and picante on the side - outstanding taste and quality!! Their chicken cashew is also yummy. Staff are attentive to refilling our drinks and checking on us, and manage to smoothly take care of all those payments. Highly recommend.“
“I enjoy the food and the service is generally good but no matter the weather outside it is absolutely freezing in the restaurant!!Dietary restrictions: I love the gluten friendly waffle that you offer. One of the few breakfast options I can enjoy.“
“What an absolute gem of a restaurant. We were in town for a golf trip and a local bartender recommended Beefeaters. The drinks, appetizers, and entrees were spot on. (Moscow mule, fried ribs, fried green tomatoes, and filet mignon)The service was fast and friendly, including the host and our waitress. Worth a visit for locals or travelers - you will not be disappointed.“
“Ashten's is a wonderful place for dinner. The service was excellent. The food is unique, flavorful, and well prepared. We started with the black eye pea soup and ostrich meatballs. Both were fantastic. For the main entrees, I had the special sea bass and my wife the cauliflower bowl. I was actually quite amaze with the flavor and how filling the bowl was. I'm not normally a 'salad' person but the bowl was impressive.“
“Thyme and Place recently catered a dinner celebration for 15 of us and it was perfect! They communicated with me easily and thoroughly throughout the whole process. And the food was delicious! We had several tasty appetizers followed by fantastic lemon chicken, rice and broccoli. I would definitely use Thyme & Place Catering again!“
“Food was the best. Waitress was very sweet and kind. The atmosphere very homey. all the food is locally sourced. One recommendation instead of canned sodas I would get a fountain machine. Because one the canned soda the customer may not finish and you waste half a can of soda.“
“Lunch was delicious! We decided to come here because Eliot's on Linden is our all time favorite restaurant and we heard that it's owned by the same man. It was a great environment, good food, good service, and great prices. We will absolutely be coming back.“
“Villaggio's is wonderful. My friend and I shared rollatini roses as an appetizer. They graciously added a fourth one so we could split evenly. The bechamel on these was fantastic. I had the ravioli of the day. 2 huge chicken and herb filled ravioli in a spicy marinara sauce. Amazing. Their pasta is an Al dente treat! I finished with a silky chocolate mousse. Service was stellar! I will return!“
“We visited on Saturday night. Around 7:30/8ish, they had a band starting to play inside. They had a bar inside and outside on the back patio. Their portion of boneless wings for just $9 was stellar! Honey BBQ was very good. Fries were solid too. Food came out very quickly! Highly recommend for grub food, a fun bar spot, and live music. They had pool tables and darts we didn't use.“
“I have scoured the lands during my military service to find the best wings from around the country. From NJ,CO,NC,GA,AK and back to NC I have found the best wings wherever I was stationed. The filly & colts have the best wings in NC that I have found after 2 stints in NC !“
“Lovely place for romantic dining! Snagged a table for Valentine’s- so quaint! The service was perfect- waiter was so nice and helpful. Complementary biscuits were amazing. The Salmon risotto was my pick ?? and the hubs was the steak and potatoes. So so good. Try it out!“
“It's a bar with good food. Pickles were great. Fire sticks were tasty. Serving sizes were large. The service both at the bar and at the table were great. The bar is low key and easy going. Lots of TVs and super chill environment. Feels like a local place amongst all the resort properties.“
“The entire experience was fantastic! I savored the chicken and tuna salads alongside unsweetened tea. As I was finishing my meal, I couldn't resist ordering a croissant. I'm willing to drive an hour and a half to explore more of their menu on my next visit. The attentive staff and prompt food service made it all the more enjoyable. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. I can’t wait until you open a location closer to me in the Triangle!“
“Easily one of best restaurants in the area. Service is classic and impeccable. Food is supremely gourmet, wonderfully high quality, beautiful, and plays with the taste buds in ways you may have never experienced or expected. Big kudos to chef Adam on the swordfish for preparing possibly one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had, from someone who spent decades in expensive areas along the Florida coast.“
“It's a cool little place, in a nice area with little shopping stores. The staff was very friendly. The food was great. I ordered the fried green tomatoe tacos and added bacon and it was amazing. I think the taco my boyfriend ordered was maybe like the Korean with like a plum sauce or something I believe either way it was very good just on the tad spicy side.“
“They have an upstairs section as well as a downstairs section, and I think the downstairs section might mostly be the drink section, but I was able to get food down there too. I went the day before St. Patrick's Day to get myself some Irish, and I had a very good shepherd's pie!It was quite noisy of course, but I suppose that was something I should have expected! My service was on point, there was live music, and I do believe they had some dart boards too!“
“Great place. Great people. Great food. Great blackened salmon. Went here three times during my week in Southern Pines. Sat at the bar to watch football. Kaitlyn, the bartender and heartbeat of the establishment, works incredibly hard both for patrons and her fellow servers. So happy I found it.“
“Excellent boutique hotel. Wife an I stayed here for two days, and it was wonderful. No need to leave the hotel except to play golf. If you do decide to do anything else all is within walking distance. Beautiful downtown area surrounding the hotel. FYI -This hotel is privately owned and not owned by big corporate.“
“It's a waffle House which means consistent food, light atmosphere, family friendly dining. I have not visited one in some time and was very happy my friends recommended it before heading home on my 8 hour road trip. Quick food, great sweet tea, small bill!“
“We love first watch. The service is always amazing especially if you luck out and get Lori as your waitress. She is upbeat and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need/want. The food is always great. It’s nice to come here and know what you are getting every time. Great food and great service:“
