“Located at the north end of the Village of Avon, this small shop has great coffee, friendly service, and a casual, greeting atmosphere. The barista is more than willing to accommodate special requests. There's even a small children's area with books to look at for young families. In addition to the traditional beach gear for sale, they have a small, but nice selection of books for sale, and a bin full of stickers, for those so inclined to collect them. Check it out! 5 smily faces... 😀😀😀😀😀“

“From the moment you walk in you are greated with the warmest atmosphere and kind friendly faces that make you feel like a regular on your very first visit! The coffee is delicious! “Seriously, these are the best, freshest, most delicious fish tacos on the Outer Banks. No matter where we stay, we ALWAYS get to Buxton Munch for fish tacos on every trip. They are well priced, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the restaurant is clean with a fun atmosphere. Buxton Munch has been our favorite lunch stop for many years and is consistently our most recommended eatery on the OBX.“

“Recently discovered Orange Blossom when we were down in Buxton for the 4 Plus Tourney. Pistachio muffins were to die for!! Stopped for a breakfast burrito on the way home… 10/10!!“

“Genuinely the best little spot in Avon, by far my favorite in all of OBX. I visit Avon every year and keep coming back here (often times multiple times per day). Amazing people work here (my favorite part about this spot), the coffee is the best, tons of beautiful prints for sale by local artists - I could go on but Uglie Mugs simply cannot be beat.
