“This is where you go for down home country food. Bbq is traditional NC bbq that is seasoned like no other. The sides and desserts are amazing! It is cafeteria style buffet except on Sunday where it’s just cafeteria style with no buffet. This place has been a family favorite for at least 35 years“

“Hadn't tried this place despite coming to Apex frequently. Really wish I had tried them sooner. Excellent fried seafood served hot, fresh and from friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Vegetarian options: Few and far between. Not a vegan/vegetarian place.“

“The customer service is pretty good! The food could improve. Every time I have been here, they are missing something from the menu. Also, most of the briskets that I have eaten here are more fat than meat.
Hush puppies are great, and the pulled pork is great!!“

“Delicious food and great service even for a family of 6. The servers were very attentive. This was a great place to eat as a finish to our vacation. The wings were probably the best I’ve ever had. I got the Shearon Harris and the flavor was excellent with the right amount of heat. My wife and oldest had the regular BBQ flavor and that was also very good. The Tots with queso was amazing as well. If you’re in the area I strongly suggest trying this place out.“

“Loved the service!!! First time trying with the family and the patience and kindness the manager had made it felt very welcoming. We didn’t know the menu but they helped and didn’t make us feel pressured to order or stressed. The environment felt very nice and calm, someone you can sit and really enjoy your food. Food was worth the money too and was very filling. 100% coming back for more. I loved it!!!!“

“Please change some of 20 curbside parking into handicap parking for a disabled veterans. Only 5 handicap spots always full but the 20 curbside pickup are always empty.“

“First time customer tonight, we were blown away! Everything we ordered was fantastic and portions were very generous! The jalapeño cornbread fritters are hands down the best I have tried, highly recommend this place 👌“
