“Recommendation with caveats: Tonight was our third time eating here. We were pleased by the food and drinks the every time. Tonight we went and noticed an odd smell as soon as we walked in. I ignored it. Then, we were seated by the back door. A roach crawled out of the drink menu onto my husband’s arm. At this point I really wanted to head for the door, especially since the wait staff seemed unphased by the roach event. Two of the tvs only showed half of a picture. In all the atmosphere was lacking. The food and drinks were good but this evening made me think we probably won’t return for a while if ever.“

“We drive almost an hour to Willow oak farm because it’s that good! The barnyard buddies class is so nice, my daughters look forward to it every week. The two teachers are amazing and great with the kids. And there is so much to do after class we end up staying the rest of the day! There’s an outdoor playground, indoor playground, ice cream, and farm animals. We just had my daughters birthday party here as well and everyone had a blast.“

The atmosphere is just lovely. We planned our son and future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner from afar, way far.....Michigan. As stressful as that could have been, Kathie did everything to ease our stress. She calmed this Momma's heart and executed everything to a "T". The appetizer table was not only displayed beautifully, it was YUMMY! The salad, main entrees and dessert did not disappoint. But most of all, the staff was most kind and extremely professional. We cannot thank Kathie and the staff at Chef Palette enough for the wonderful and memorable evening we shared together. GO TO CHEF's PALETTE!“

“Howling Cow is the perfect mix of education and enjoyment. The ice cream is rich, creamy, and made with milk from cows right on the farm. The Dairy Education Center gives visitors a unique look into how dairy products are made, and the Randleigh Dairy Museum offers interactive exhibits for all ages. The porch with rocking chairs and views of the pastures make it a relaxing stop. It can get busy on weekends, but it’s absolutely worth the visit.“

“So I grew up in the 60's and 70's right up the street in utica that made the best Half moons and Tomato pie. I now live here in NC and love to be able to get my fix without having to have a family member delivery it from NY. You have done a great job bringing these 2 items to NC. But I do have one suggestion on your Tomato pie 😊 I believe you got the sauce down pat 👍, but the crust needs to be softer and moisture and not so airy and dry. And reduce the size of the ends. Too much hard crust with no sauce 😊 Half moons are great but they could be better with the cookie part be thinner and more fudgie and the vanilla frosting be more creamy like the chocolate frosting. But all and all everything is great at the Utica Bakery. Thank you for bringing a little bit of Utica to Apex. Hope you open a little restaurant soon with Greens on the menu 😋“

“This is one of the coziest scenes I have experienced here in North Carolina. I've lived here for aomost 5 years! The people and the vibe are extremely relaxed. Such a chill place with great beer( I am not a beer drinker bit I really like theirs!!!) Nonnie is my favorite go to Barista, and she makes my drinks perfectly every single time. She is so welcoming, friendly and puts a smile on my face every time I see her. “This is a great little place that serves firmly packed shaved ice snow cones. Hundreds of flavor combinations in many sizes. Also Hershey's ice cream which can be served with toppings or inside of the snow cones ?

Kid-friendliness: The smallest cone is just right for a hot child.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are two windows, drive thru and walk up. A person in a wheelchair can order from the walk up window and then enjoy the shade of the giant umbrellas at the picnic tables.“

“I decided to try some hibachi here tonight, and it was wonderful! The staff was very friendly, and they greeted me with a smile. I had the hibachi salmon. I added a side of fried rice and a side of jumbo shrimp. I placed a to-go order at the counter.

You can watch the chef preparing food by looking through a window near the register. The ingredients look fresh and delicious. It may have taken around 10 minutes to receive the order, although I didn't pay attention to the clock.

The brewery is a few miles away from the other restaurants; however, they're going to be moving everything closer to the other restaurants in the new building they're working on (you'll have to check their website for further details).The guys at the brewery were super chill and friendly! We were stuck bringing our children again (the sitter was a no-show), and thankfully, they had no issue with that. The tour was fun and my husband enjoyed the tasting for sure! We did have a Groupon, but that's not necessary to take advantage of the tour and deals they'll give you.Also, if you're not a beer drinker - they have root beer! And I have to say, it's pretty darn good! We all loved it, including the kiddos! I will add I'm not a beer drinker, but the few I tasted were pretty darn good!!
