“Recommendation with caveats: Tonight was our third time eating here. We were pleased by the food and drinks the every time. Tonight we went and noticed an odd smell as soon as we walked in. I ignored it. Then, we were seated by the back door. A roach crawled out of the drink menu onto my husband’s arm. At this point I really wanted to head for the door, especially since the wait staff seemed unphased by the roach event. Two of the tvs only showed half of a picture. In all the atmosphere was lacking. The food and drinks were good but this evening made me think we probably won’t return for a while if ever.“

“If you are planning a special occasion or just want a night out at a wonderful restaurant, I have a bit of advice for you. Go to Chef Palette! This establishment has got it together. The atmosphere is just lovely. We planned our son and future daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner from afar, way far.....Michigan. As stressful as that could have been, Kathie did everything to ease our stress. She calmed this Momma's heart and executed everything to a "T". The appetizer table was not only displayed beautifully, it was YUMMY! The salad, main entrees and dessert did not disappoint. But most of all, the staff was most kind and extremely professional. We cannot thank Kathie and the staff at Chef Palette enough for the wonderful and memorable evening we shared together. GO TO CHEF's PALETTE!“

“We drive almost an hour to Willow oak farm because it’s that good! The barnyard buddies class is so nice, my daughters look forward to it every week. The two teachers are amazing and great with the kids. And there is so much to do after class we end up staying the rest of the day! There’s an outdoor playground, indoor playground, ice cream, and farm animals. We just had my daughters birthday party here as well and everyone had a blast.“

I am assuming the "howling" part of the name is because this is an NCSU establishment (Wolfpack).

I have had Howling Cow products at other places throughout Raleigh, and this is the first time at the creamery itself. The grounds are wonderful. There is interior seating, but the star here is the back patio, equipped with rocking chairs and the like, with a large grass area overlooking the cows/farmland. Awesome. There are several creameries throughout NC that have a farmland type view, but the patio does it for me.

I've tried several items from HC. As far as flavors, cherry vanilla and almond butter stand out to me. I had a sundae this go-round, Fireside Brownie Sundae. It had a warm brownie, whipped cream, chocolate chips, and ice cream. They are extremely rich. They offer splits, several cup and cone options, shakes, and pretty much anything ice cream related. Has a bunch of toppings to make whatever concoction you want. I really enjoy the two aforementioned ice cream flavors and like this over everything else sampled. You can also purchase bottled drinks, t-shirts, and other dairy products.

Expect plenty of patrons, a line that usually moved fairly quickly, and ample staff to handle it all. HC does NOT take cash, and I actually love this aspect.

“My only go to coffee place. I love all the different combinations you can make. Though my favorite is the Peanut Butter Huckleberry Latte. ❤️ It is pure perfection. Nonnie is my favorite go to Barista, and she makes my drinks perfectly every single time. She is so welcoming, friendly and puts a smile on my face every time I see her. “Very friendly and helpful staff. Large selection of drinks, fast service. I haven’t tried the food, but the coffee is very invigorating, in the good sense of the word. For example, locally grown coffee beans are used for espresso. It doesn't taste bad at all. They try to create a cozy atmosphere in the establishment, it seems that it works. Convenient location. You definitely shouldn’t neglect this option for your morning coffee.“

“This is one of the coziest scenes I have experienced here in North Carolina. I've lived here for aomost 5 years! The people and the vibe are extremely relaxed. Such a chill place with great beer( I am not a beer drinker bit I really like theirs!!!) “I stopped by this place on a random drive day, and I’m glad I did so. Amazing Mexican food, and fresh juices. Their tacos and burritos are way above your $$$ restaurant experience. The lady running this place is polite and courteous. Beautiful location too.“

“I didn't take pics, I apologize. The brewery is a few miles away from the other restaurants; however, they're going to be moving everything closer to the other restaurants in the new building they're working on (you'll have to check their website for further details).The guys at the brewery were super chill and friendly! We were stuck bringing our children again (the sitter was a no-show), and thankfully, they had no issue with that. The tour was fun and my husband enjoyed the tasting for sure! We did have a Groupon, but that's not necessary to take advantage of the tour and deals they'll give you.Also, if you're not a beer drinker - they have root beer! And I have to say, it's pretty darn good! We all loved it, including the kiddos! I will add I'm not a beer drinker, but the few I tasted were pretty darn good!! So, be open-minded to trying them all out! My husband loved them all.“
