Firehouse Subs Gaston Mall is a hot place where the door is propped open due to the heat. The staff is hardworking and efficient, although there are some slow service issues. While the subs could be toasted more, the correct orders and friendly greetings make up for it. However, there can be delays in service, as noted by customers who experienced long waits even with few people in the restaurant. Mistakes in orders, like missing cheese and onions, can also cause frustration. Despite these challenges, customers have praised the restaurant for its kid-friendliness and for providing a pleasant experience when placing large orders. With improvements in speed and accuracy, this restaurant has the potential to offer a better dining experience.
