“I’m from NYC & lived 12 years in Atlantic City, NJ.. This is my favorite Pizza joint. I have been coming here at least once a week since they opened their doors. The best authentic Italian food and gives NY pizzerias a run for their money!“

“WOW! My boyfriend and I recently moved into the area and decided to try out sals a few weeks ago. At that time we got a buffalo chicken pizza & a Hawaiian pizza. Today we decided to try them again and got a margarita pizza, Stromboli, and antipasto salad. Our order was QUICKLY finished and tastes absolutely delicious. Sal is very personable and extremely talented in the kitchen. Our favorite pizzeria by far.“

“I have been coming here for awhile as I love my server Deb, and Juliet. However, even after coming sometimes every Friday to meet family and friends for a meal out, tonight is the last time. My last 3 visit you can hear the owner yelling at the staff very disrespectful through out the restraunt. Tonight was the worst ever cussing the staff, even in Italian some people do know such foul language. It was to the point that I did not finish my dinner, nor did those dining with me, we wanted our check and to get as far away from there. I will truly miss Deb and Juliet however I can not justify spending my hard earn money for such a terrible experience.“

“This place has some of the best service out of all the hungry howies I've visited. Super friendly and prompt with the food. The quality is always spot on too. Today they did something even better. “Was there for lunch today and they were slammed with people. A large group of students showed us. The manager and staff were non-stop getting the pizzas out and taking care of everyone. They definitely deserve some positive recognition.“

“We absolutely love Portofino’s Gastonia...We usually eat in their restaurant but I was recently in the Hospital and was wanting their Spaghetti so We opted for take out and they did not disappoint bc it was a huge portion of Spaghetti and stuffed Shells as well as a nice healthy salad..The food was so hot and fresh..Thank you“

“Marco’s has not disappointed me except for 1 incident & they handled it by sending me a coupon for a free item. It looked like they were short staffed on a Wednesday. I accepted the offer and will continue to purchase whatever but they will have to earn my business from now on because I will check my product before leaving the store.“

“I’m not usually a review person, but had to leave a review for Tiffany at the Gastonia Blaze Pizza. My family has pizza night every Friday and my son has a dairy allergy. Tonight I made the mistake of ordering our pizzas while I was distracted by my toddler and accidentally selected “add mozzarella” to one of our dairy free pizzas. Instead of just making the pizza as ordered, Blaze called me immediately to make sure that we wanted we wanted vegan cheese AND mozzarella, which obviously we did not! I know it probably sounds dramatic to put it like this, but she saved pizza night with that phone call! Thank you for caring about your customers!“

“By far the best sandwiches I have ever had and their pizza was unexpectedly good. Staff was not attentive to lines or soda machine (repeatedly out of diet) or people trying to get attention from the kitchen. Ran out of Schlotzsky Sauce packet but had cups in kitchen out of reach.“

“I Don’t eat dominos but I had tried a slice of spinach pizza from them at work for the first time and it was good so I thought I would give them a try. Pizza was baked fresh and good. Place the order online and it was ready by the time I got there. Enjoyed the deal they had today so I didn’t feel like I wasted my money if I didn’t like it. Would try them again next time in the area.

Vegetarian options: Great for lacto-ovo vegetarians. Know your diet and what you can/cannot eat, and there are plenty of choices.“

“I did carry out on my visit. Pizza was as good as it gets. Order was ready when I arrived. Almost an "industrial" site, in that it was set up for delivery, not carryout. Staff were very nice. My only advice would be to spend some money on a "store front" for customers who do carryout. Sometimes it is the details that make the experience.“
