“MY GOODNESS this food/sandwiches are SO GOOD! One of the top 5 best sandwiches I've ever had in my 40 years of life. I shop at the Hispanic shop beside this store all the time and see this place closed all the time due to their limited hours of operation. So I decided to set an alarm on my phone to make sure I visited while they were open and I'm SO GLAD I did! Well worth going out of my way to make it here! The bread is insanely delicious and fluffy! I have no idea how they do it! And the meats they use for the sandwiches is delicious too! My wife also got a fried pie and she loves it! I couldn't recommend this place enough!“

“The Flour Shoppe of Lenoir is an amazing business! I reached out to the owner last week about purchasing cookies and frosting for a class project that I was doing this week. Not only did the owner reach back out and get what I needed, but they went above and beyond and supplied extra things that I would need (saving me a trip to Walmart). The owner and her family are great people and I am so happy we have this bakery in our local area.“

“Best wedding cake ever! The sweetest lady there made our dream wedding cake! Not here to slander another business, but our original wedding cake came from another place and it was an absolute disaster. We went here, the day before the wedding, and explained what had happened and showed her the cake. She made this bride so inexplicably happy when she said she could make me a brand new cake, exactly the way I wanted it, in 24 hours. The end result was better than I could have dreamed it to be! She was absolutely amazing, in customer service and in her baking/decorating abilities. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing any types of cakes or cookies for special occasions. “They have plenty of cases filled with an amazing variety of pan dulce (which I recently discovered is pronounced dull-se). I got a wide variety for a low price. I went around 9am on a Thursday, it wasn’t busy which was nice for me to take time and pick out what I wanted to try. Everything was delicious, fresh and appealing to look at 🤩💘“

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!“

“Wonderful food. I want to try more appetizers on the menu, but the garlic jumbo shrimp wins out every time! Never had a bad entree. The Tomahawk is out of this world- a great shareable meal for the steak eaters. I would put it up against any steak house. Truffle Mushroom Chicken is delicious. Fish dishes are good too! If you go for a side I recommend the au gratin. Dress is across the board. Casual to dressy, but not stuffy.“

“The office opens at 7 AM. But you can call as early as 6:10 AM. The phone number is on the sign on the fence to the left of the entrance. As soon as you enter, go to the reception office near the entrance, on the right side of the building. They will tell you which door to use, probably number 33, as in the photo. Overnight parking is available before the entrance, on the right and left.“

“I had been looking for the Spanish bar cake like my grandma used to buy when I was a child. I was on vacation in Beaufort, NC and found this at Piggly Wiggly. I thought ok I will try it. OMG! It is just like the ones I use to eat. This brought back great memories and was so delicious. I hope to find it closer home. If not I will have to make the drive to the bakery.“

“Love this store! Most people assume it's expired or close to expired goods. That is NOT the case. For example, Dave's Killer Bread, Flowers is only $2 and Lowe's is charging $6.99, Walmart grocery is $6.42 - same loaf, same expiration dates across the board. I just hit all 3 of these stores TODAY. So that's active pricing, current expiration dates. If you're trying to squeeze more out of your tight grocery budget, you need to come here and check it out.“

“Met my boyfriend for our first date here 3 years ago. Just recently moved back to this area, was looking for a chill coffee spot. Went here once by myself. Neat spot, good atmosphere. We sat inside. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.“
