“We always come here for bread on our trips to Boone! Most of their breads are vegan. They have an allergy guide on their website so you can plan ahead of time. They also normally have 1-2 vegan sweets. A couple of years ago they had a vegan chocolate cake and it was so good!!!“
“My husband and I were in town for a weekend getaway in Boone and decided to stop by blue deer for a sweet treat. We both got the double chocolate chip cookie sandwiches but with different ice creams. My husband got the coffee ice cream and I got the peppermint ice cream. Loved the cookie sandwich! Peppermint ice cream is so hard to get right especially since it can taste like toothpaste but blue deer got it right - sweet, tasty, and perfect texture. I loved it so much that I came back the next day to get the exact same thing.The two girls working were very nice and helpful. Samples of ice cream are also offered to help narrow down your options.“
“I ordered an 8oz Cappuccino with lots of froth, reg milk for in-house and they delivered! The froth was stiff and perfect, the coffee itself was bitter but sweet(?) Good though, a satisfying type of bitter/sweet. I loved it.I then ordered their seasonal Chai Cider w/ Oat Milk and it was SO GOOD!! The baristas strutted their stuff with this gem! The oat milk had such a creamy froth I thought it was regular milk for a sec!Once you get inside it’s wonderful, though the parking is…limited. I got lucky but there are only 4(?) designated spots and with seemingly strict towing for the surround business. I recommend parking elsewhere and walking, highly worth it in my opinion!I would have taken pictures but I drank them too fast ?“
“My favorite breakfast in Boone! Their bagels are always fresh and delicious, their drinks are tasty, and I absolutely love their breakfast potatoes. My boyfriend lives out of town, and when he comes to visit, we always have to come here. I like to get the Asiago bagel, and he's a fan of the Everything but the Kitchen Sink sandwich. Have been here several times and am never disappointed.“
“If you’re craving cookies this is the place to go! You’ll get hot, fresh out the oven cookies in unique flavors. I tried the cookie butter, Yosef, (apple, cinnamon, oats, pecans, coconut, chocolate chips) honey PB, and snickerdoodle flavors and loved them all!“
“Elizabeth made a cake for my wedding rehearsal dinner and it was beautiful and delicious! We decided on the flavor and sent her inspiration pictures for the design and when we got the cake we were blown away by how amazing it looked and tasted. Our friends and family were also very impressed. It was also extremely affordable for how large it was and how much time she must have spent making it. She also made our cookie favors for the wedding, which everyone loved and not a single cookie was left behind. 12/10 highly recommend and we'll be going back for an anniversary cake.“
“I got a chai with oatmilk and it was absolutely delicious and the donuts were huge and so good. The girl who was working at the time we came in was so sweet and kind to us and the other customers. The ambiance is super relaxed and peaceful. There are games of checkers and chess at the larger tables and comfortable seating. Definitely would come back!!“
“Everything about this place is wonderful! It's beautiful inside and outside. The coffee is so stinkin' good! The glazed donut was better than any I've ever had and my British husband said their cheddar and herb biscuit finally tastes like the scones he remembers. I wish we lived closer because we'd be here all the time.“
