“What a surprise gem! Stopped in to get a treat for my spouse for his birthday. No small Bundt cakes available, so I got a cheesecake with fudge icing. Boy am I glad I did. The best ever. Graham cracker crust on bottom only, so you get a lot of pure, wonderful, creamy, and flavorful cheesecake. It was topped with rich, chocolate fudge icing, delicious. Then finished with some whipped cream and mini chocolate chips. Beautiful. The fudge icing is excellent by itself; the cheesecake is excellent by itself, so you really get two desserts but they go well together perfectly. And it is very big. 4” diameter and 2” high. We split just half of it because it is so rich and filling. Slowly savored every bite! Highly recommend this place and can’t wait to try their other treats! “There are so many different kinds of bread it's impossible to tell of the taste so I asked the cashier and she was most helpful. The things that look like mini apple pies are really good because they are barely sweet at all and you can really taste the Apple. The custard jelly donut things are also very good. I also like the flat sugar cookies I imagine they would be really good dipped in coffee in the morning! They also had tamales and something I think it was called a cucharito? Anyway it was like a tamale but it had chicken and a sauce on the inside and was only a 1.50 each. I love little ethnic shops like this, they add a lot of character to the town!“
“Jerry the manager, stock clerk and cashier is super friendly and really promotes a friendly atmosphere. Discount bread is still FRESH and there's plenty of variety besides bread and bread products. I always enjoy stopping by especially when they have huge bags of bread for dog food. Hint... much of the bread is still in date and fresh... and my dogs love it for treats ..The store is always neat and clean and organized.The bread stays fresh well beyond the use by date... Many times bread is fresher than in the stores.Stop by and enjoy the discounted bread and the friendly staff...Well deserving of a FIVE STAR RATING!!!!“
“I wasn't too sure about this place at first. I read the reviews and they were all good so I decided what the heck why not. It was really good! I got the roast beef, toasted. The bread was so soft and was toasted to perfection! I got all the fixins with it, except onions and their spicy relish. All the flavors blend well together. It's a great mom and pop sandwich, soup and pizza place and it's not overly priced. If you're on the fence about trying it, just go you won't regret it.“
