“My family came up to stay in a cabin with an absolutely beautiful creek near Boone. From March 16th thru March 23rd.2019. We just love Boone's weather. We did see a dusting of snow, on the 21st. First time ever my daughter of 8, saw snow! We went sledding up on Beech mtn. The Super Walmart in Boone is so much better than here in Gainesville Fl. The Walmart employee's were so helpful! The people in Boone are so very friendly! We plan on moving perhaps this year to the Boone area. Leave all this heat and humidty, the bugs! Not to mention the Hurricanes. So many dangerous thunderstorms. We'll be waving bye to Florida!“
“They seemed short handed. There was a bit of a wait. It was okay because it was our first time and we had to see the menu and all of the different bagels to figure out what we wanted. The food was awesome. They take your order and give you a number for your table. The bagels are like no other bagel you've had. I could eat those everyday. I had the sausage egg and cheese bagel with a jalapeño bagel. The coffee was free refills, but just a regular brew.“
“Ordered cookies online for curbside delivery at 0649pm got to store 40 min later and was told that they were out of most of what I had ordered. Manager was nice, offered refund or to make cookies I wanted which took a xtra 30 min. Of wait time. Not sure that I will go back for awhile at this point. But the cookies looked great! And I was given a card for a free cookie on a return visit.“
“First time stopping in this bakery. We got a loaf of homemade bread, two almond cupcakes and a few other treats. The cupcakes were fantastic. Not overly sweet and the almond icing was decadent. Will definitely be back. Her prices are so good and quality top level. Highly recommend!“

“This was our first time dining at Perkins. We chose breakfast, and it was fantastic! Better than IHOP, better than Waffle House, better than Cracker Barrel. Our server, Matt, was very attentive, making sure our orders were prepared exactly the way we wanted, and served in a timely manner. Excellent food, excellent service--we will definitely be back.“
“When i lived in Surgoinsville, I'd drive up here once a month to get that caramel apple cheesecake bar. The last time my girlfriend and I visited Kingsport, I brought her here for the first time, and we shared the best carrotcake cupcake and some other things. She knew we had to come back when we came in for another visit this past weekend. They were sadly out of the delicious carrotcake cupcakes, but we got a strawberry one, and it just wasn't good. The strawberry cheesecake bar was delicious, though. The lady behind us, I guess, had never been and asked what we recommended. I told her about the caramel apple cheesecake bar, and that's what she got! The cashier said that was her favorite. I just hope she enjoyed it as much as I did. We will be back again next time we visit. Keep up the delicious treats!!!“
“If you haven't been...Go. some of the best cheesecake in this area...and that's saying something because I LOVE cheesecake. The do date nights here. They a over 500 flavors of cheesecake and there food is A+. We found out about this place from getting a hole in 1 on the 18 at The Travling Bear indoor mini golf cours.“
