“A hidden gem. It is not a sit in restaurant but the food is excellent. I love their desserts. My personal favorite is their livermush sandwich with slaw, onions and mustard. I dare you to try it. How do you all make the livermush so crispy. I can't do that at home without burning it.“

There is no picture of the wings. They were so good they dissappear before I could get a picture.
My son took me out for lunch to celebrate his Black Belt ceremony.
My steak tasted really good, and had it been cooked to order, it would have been awesome.
My regret is not sending it back because I ordered medium rare, and I get medium well, and that disappointed me.
I wonder if someone received my steak or did the chef just overcook it.“

“My mother in law and her boyfriend brought my husband and I here right after we got married 😂 so, I may be biased because now it holds a special place in my heart. But, the food was good and the service was fast. I really had no complaints. They have a kids menu so my daughter was able to get her normal chicken and fries.

“Amazing! Fabulous wine in a perfect setting. We happens to stop by in a sunny afternoon. They had live music outdoors on their deck area and a food truck. The owner’s were very helpful and attentive. It’s not often that I really like many wines at a local winery. This place had many offerings that were all amazing. It may have something to do with the small batches. I had to purchase a case to take home all my favorites. Definitely worth the stop. “Family owned and argued over since 2014” according to their t-shirts.“

“We went there for our 36yr anniversary, well worth it, Went with the Tapas menu. Everything was delicious, except the bourbon pecan pie, I'd give it a miss. Portions were great, drinks, my Dark and Stormy, just what I was looking for. Pecan pie, felt like it was microwaved, for way too long. Very chewy and pretty flavorless. The Chocolate Mouse Cake was dense, rich and more than made up for the pecan pie. Went well with a tasty cup of coffee. Now that we found the place we will definitely be back.“

“Oh yeah, great takeout and very friendly cashiers. Reckon why there is almost always an Asian food joint next to the Food Lions in our area? I love it. Order my food go next door and grab a kort of milk or some grapes then go back and get my take out. 2 birds within throwing distance. Speaking of birds that chicken from Jasmines is pretty good with the sesame seeds and such. And the shrimp sauce y'all think is so Asian is nothing but an American idea. So before getting too uppity on the sauce have them learn you how to use 3 chopsticks from now on.But this place has a right smart variety and they take just enough time to get the food right so as you're not waiting half a day to eat. I sure wish they had beef and tomatoes. I don't reckon I see much tomato in the Asian diet.Anyways I would recommend this place if it is up to me.

Vegetarian options: They have a bunch of vegetables and rice dishes but they might use same wok as the meat dishes so some vegetablarians might get red butted over this.

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!“

“I did not know about this restaurant until they catered something at work one morning. Ever since that morning, it has been my go-to when I don't pick my lunch for work. I always get the lunch combo with the hot brown sandwich. It is good every time! The cookies are really good too. If I get something at breakfast, it is always the Harley and it has always been good.“

“We love Hardee’s, but we were very disappointed on our last visit, we ordered 10 piece chicken tenders, we got home and we had very small pieces. I know that it sounds silly but I just lost my mother and his kind words and exceptional customer service made me feel a lot better, I really needed that. What I did not need was the female barista, Kayla, to berate me and laugh in my face. Apparently servicing a grieving customer is “standing around talking” to her. I also saw her yell at Lucas for no apparent reason while he was working and she was on “break” I haven’t seen Lucas at the store in a while and I hope that girls mean words don’t have anything to do with it! -ML“

“The food is always piping hot, fresh, and great portions, packaged extremely well. Amount per person for me is much higher because I always order delivery. When I have went in for takeout the lady at the register is diligent, and will hold an intelligent conversation with you while you wait. I personally enjoy that.“

Parking: Plenty of parking. Now exiting the parking lot can sometimes be a hassle would be helpful if they would open a 2nd exit onto hwy 321.
