“We happened upon fresh chef and decided to stop and try it. The service was amazing, atmosphere is great, food was AMAZING we had gumbo and shrimp with grits which is something that’s usually hit or miss most places, but they nailed it and we will definitely be back. “I placed my order online and went inside to pick up my order. This was at lunchtime, so the restaurant had a good flow of customers. I didn't go to the counter to ask if my order was ready. But I noticed people that came in and ordered at the counter, got their bag before I did. So, i just went to one of the workers and asked if they had a bag with my last name. And after a minute or so I did get my bag and leave the restaurant. Everyone was working, and the cook's community back and forth.“

“My mother in law and her boyfriend brought my husband and I here right after we got married 😂 so, I may be biased because now it holds a special place in my heart. But, the food was good and the service was fast. I really had no complaints. They have a kids menu so my daughter was able to get her normal chicken and fries.

We stopped in for a drink at their full service bar. I ordered a Sazerac, which is always a good general barometer of the skills of the mixologist. My Sazerac was absolutely delicious. Complex and perfectly balanced; executed with skill that only an experienced mixologist can deliver.
My wife ordered a proprietary signature seasonal cocktail, (which I also sampled) and it was evident that it had been carefully crafted by a mixologist who truly knew their craft well. Not sweet, not bitter…rich and bright—refreshing with a clever play of citrus. What manner of mixologist sorcery is this?
This high level of craftsmanship combined with the excellent quality of the spirits they make at Warehouse Distillery are certainly great reasons for a return trip. It’s absolutely going to be worth your time to stop in.
I am compelled to return soon, to tour the distillery, sample their bourbon and stock my home bar with that wonderful rye!“

“Met my boyfriend for our first date here 3 years ago. Just recently moved back to this area, was looking for a chill coffee spot. Went here once by myself. Neat spot, good atmosphere. We sat inside. The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.“

“3 of us planned to eat at the corner of the bar, have a couple of glasses of wine and tapas while we caught up with what was going on in our lives. It was exactly what we were looking for. The service ~Olivia was wonderful! Professional, friendly, knowledgeable about wines and directed us well. She not intrusive but perfectly engaging. The food ~ spot on! We ordered the Piquillos, Chicken Tagine and Naan Trio- all really delicious and well presented. Noise level ~ perfect. We were able to eat, drink and chat without effort. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!“

“I had been wanting to eat at a real country kitchen food, had been in some but haven’t found one that I satisfied.
Today, I found one: this Granny’s Country Kitchen in Claremont, NC
The ambiance was casual, family oriented, and food was very yummy, service by a young, pretty and efficient Cami, the reasonable prices made an amazing lunch!
I told my husband that I wished this restaurant was in our neighborhood.
Highly recommend to those who travel to this part, it’s a must stop for lunch or dinner, besides a great meal, we support the local as well.“

“Last week there was a mistake on my delivery order. I reached out and Bruno (owner) immediately took action. He remade my breakfast wrap and personally delivered it to me. We are all human and make mistakes, but Im a firm believer it’s how you handle the mistakes thats leave the impression on a customer. Please support our local businesses, especially Cafe Gouda!“

“We love Hardee’s, but we were very disappointed on our last visit, we ordered 10 piece chicken tenders, we got home and we had very small pieces. We called the store and the employee stated that they decided to fry up some end pieces. Very disappointed, not enough to serve the 2 of us, thank you .“

“I decided to stop in to grab a cold brew during a grocery run on Saturday 5/17/25 around 12:30 in the afternoon. Per normal, the Target Starbucks line was rather long, but I was luckily shopping kid free that day and in no rush to scurry back home, so I waited patiently (all the mamas understand). I would guesstimate I waited between 10-15 minutes and the entire time only one person was working, a very tall, dark haired man. I wish I had gotten his name because I would love to give him the biggest shout out! The whole time I was in line I watched him seamlessly take multiple orders and make their drinks all in a line like a bar tender. He never messed up, never faltered, and pumped out coffee to the masses like a pro. You know how us white girls can get about our sugar flavored drinks, and he met every single one of us in line with a big smile and welcomed greeting. He held polite conversations as he worked and even made sure each person got their correct order handed directly to them, instead of just slamming them on the counter for you to find. I'm not sure where you found them gem of a gentleman, but during the time I was there, he made each and every person feel like their order was important and even the grumpiest Karen seemed to leave in a better mood (that may have also been because they finally got their caffeine fix for the day). He made sure when taking your order you didn't miss anything, and would double check to make sure you have everything you want when he handed off the goods. He'd even offer to fix your drink if you have any issues. I know it's stressful being the only one working (I'm hoping there was a coworker on break and Starbucks didn't just fail this man by having him work alone on a Saturday), and I hope he knows how amazing he is to take a deep breath, grit his teeth, and keep on pushing through as if nothing was the matter. I don't even know if my cold brew tasted good or not because the only flavor I could taste was pride. Whoever his mama is, should be proud.“
“The level of customer service provided to my family during our visit was superior, especially the service of Tammy W. The food was very good, the establishment was clean and the entire staff was excellent. Tammy went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. She was so kind to the young children in our group. Noticeably, she made a point to interact and provide excellent service to all customers, not just my party. Whataburger should definitely give Tammy a raise because if I owned a company, I would want to keep her on my team.“

“i went there and their drink machine was messed up. i reported it trying to help and the cashier said others had reported the drinks being messed up also. an older lady that I assume was the manager comes out with the rudest most unprofessional attitude. she literally took a cup and announced "carbonation" then dumped it out then did this over and over for the whole machine instead of just tasting the problem. manager or not rude, lazy employee. not going back to pack $16+ dollars just to have an employee make a scene at the drink machine they wanna charge $3 for. keep your rotten attitudes and overpriced crap I feel bad for the young people working there if that's how things go in front of customers“

“I had a great experience at the Taco Bell drive-thru! The staff was friendly and had a positive attitude, even during a busy time. My order was prepared quickly and was completely accurate. The food was fresh, hot, and tasted great. The drive-thru line moved like a well oiled machine, making the whole experience fast and convenient. Excellent customer service and quality food. And it's so cheap!“
