Had dinner there on 3.31.2023 before a show. Service was great, food was tasty and priced as it should have been. Server knew about a food allergy and was helpful in making a selection. All the dishes looked good and smelled good.

The Liberty Oak is a beautiful restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating area. The food is praised, including the vegetarian pasta, steak risotto, filet mignon risotto, and blackened salmon. Customers enjoy the great drinks, fantastic service, and convenient parking nearby. The restaurant is recommended for a fancy date night or an excellent lunch.
The Liberty Oak's staff is friendly, and the food is very delicious. The server is fantastic and attentive. The ribeye steak (medium rare) is perfectly prepared and super tender. The truffle fries and fried oysters are tasty and different, very good. The Red Velvet cake and Strawberry shortcake desserts are very delicious. This spot is a hidden gem in downtown Greensboro, and it is highly recommended.
The crowd was light during the lunch, so the initial service was quick. The bar was slow filling drink orders. There was a lot of bacon in the items, maybe more than necessary. Overall, the lunch was good, and the out-of-town guest was happy with the fish entree.
The Liberty Oak has consistently great food on an interesting but inclusive menu at reasonable prices with great service. The beef short ribs over risotto were delicious. The restaurant continues to operate in downtown Greensboro.
