Limelight Reviews
Terrible security , people would cut in line and we waited outside for an hour and we left cause that was a ridiculous line
In my opinion, this establishment has gone downhill. It used to be inclusive and fun. The DJ kept saying the same thing over and over again, during songs. That was not great. Only a few guests knew the words to the music selection. Most people just stood around. You aren’t allowed a lot of places. Very weird. Limelight was okay. We went for International Night (hoping that they were playing some Reggae). We went for my husband's birthday and they didn't play any dancehall/soca/reggae.
We will give it another whirl.... But for $15/person, we couldn't get access to the bar or hookah (since the bartender was hanging with the crowd), and playing Pitbull for 2hrs.... It was a bit boring, but we will try again!

Limelight is a popular club in Greensboro with a lively atmosphere. The club features international music on Fridays and English music on Saturdays. It can be busier on Fridays, with a cover charge and a dress code that excludes tank tops. The staff is friendly, and the vibe is nice, though the energy may pick up later in the evening.
Customers have noted the decent music and staff, but some have concerns about the high drink prices and the cleanliness of the bathrooms. The club has undergone changes under new ownership, and the owner seems dedicated to making it a popular destination in downtown Greensboro. While some customers have had an "okay" experience, others have enjoyed the good vibes and the opportunity to dance, especially on Latin nights.
