Maxie B's Greensboro is "a cake & sweets bakery serving baked goods by the slice in a cafe setting, plus seasonal selections." I'd go a step further and say its more like heaven il on Earth. We were in town from about 2 hours away, and a friend recommended Maxie B’s — now I know why! This place is absolutely worth the trip. They have so many delicious options, including great choices for gluten-free treats, which can be hard to find done this well.
The strawberry buttercream cake? Incredible. Honestly, everything we tried was amazing, so we couldn’t help but sample a little bit of everything. No regrets!

This bakery is so yummy! I love the Brown Stone Front cake and hot chocolate. The pound cake is just ok. But the brown stone cake is 10/10. I prefer the cake slices to the cupcakes. There’s a lot of icing but it tastes good by itself later as a second dessert 🤪 Might be the best bakery in Greensboro.
Also pro tip!! They said they always have everything. So if you don’t see your favorite treat in the display case, you can ask for it from the back.
