The food was really good. The establishment was clean. However, the music was a little loud. They did turn it down a little which helped. The wait for the food was lengthy however but, well worth it. I got the big boss platter, deep fried corn and gator bite combo with French fries. My parents got the salmon and shrimp combo with broccoli and corn. I drove over an hour to come try this place. The food was really good, but the service was poor. I waited 10 minutes standing by the register before I was acknowledged or asked if I was ready to place my order. The wait time was unnecessarily long as well. It’s clear they need to hire additional people as the cashier is wearing multiple hats, which caused a delay in placing my order and receiving it. Every time I come back to Henderson I have to visit Siplen's. Let me tell you - they don't miss!!!Today I got the loaded potato special that had red potatoes, queso, bacon, sour cream & fried shrimp. All of that food for just $10.50. While the potatoes and queso were delicious the shrimp stole the show, they were fried & seasoned perfectly.I also got peach mango & blue raspberry Kool-aid.
