Unfortunately we experienced unkind bartenders at our daughter's wedding, which was very embarrassing for us. Drinks changed prices multiple times for the guests which was very odd. Multiple guests approached us with these concerns.
I used L&I catering when they were associated with Sapphire Hills Event Center in Conover, NC in November of 2024 to host my wedding — good experience for my wedding day but did not meet my expectations as it relates to communication, DJ services, and customer service on the day of the event. Matt (the DJ we had to use as it was included in our all inclusive package) did not play any songs that were requested ahead of time during the reception, did not play our first kiss song...read full review
Our daughter’s wedding was this past weekend. The food was amazing, guests enjoyed everything about it.
Heidi and Matt- your time, talents and professionalism was above and beyond. Your staff was amazing. We can’t thank you enough for making the rehearsal and wedding reception smooth and enjoyable!

Based on the reviews, L & L Catering & Bistro provides first class service and food for special events. The team handles everything seamlessly, with Matt and Heidi described as a dream team. Matt has also served as an officiant and DJ. Heidi is a joy to work with, very detailed, and takes lots of time to answer questions. Connie is also very detailed. Holly is helpful and pulls everything together. The food is amazing, delicious, and well presented. Specific meals mentioned include chicken Alfredo, buttered red-skin potatoes, garlic bread, a fresh garden salad, poppy salad, perfectly grilled herb chicken, buttery smooth mashed potatoes (dairy free), sautéed veggies, and delightful cupcakes (vanilla, strawberry, pink lemonade). For guests with dietary needs, the food is phenomenal and gluten and dairy-free, with the best gluten free crackers for charcuterie boards. The service is outstanding, with staff helping with tasks like bustling a gown. Guests look forward to their next event and cannot recommend L & L Catering highly enough.
