“Thus place was so unique the kids and adults loved it! The waitress came back 4 times to check on us we alwayse had refills and the food came out fast and hot. For four of us to eat three of which were regular adult meals and one kids meal was 60.00 very reasonable for the quality of food and portions you get. If you get a chance to go get the potatoe salad it's homemade and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful experience.“
“Excellent spot in downtown Hickory. I really enjoy eating lunch here when I am in the Hickory area. Excellent salads and sandwiches. The beer selection is good too. I live in Charlotte. So, I pass on the beer, but it is great lunch spot with or without an adult beverage.“
“Olde Hickory Tap Room is located in Union Square in Downtown Hickory. I dined here on a Sunday so parking was easy as the area wasn't too busy. When I arrived the host immediately sat me at a booth and didn't try to seat me at the bar which tends to be common places. My waitress was as friendly as could be. I went with the sirloin steak; fries and salad. The sirloin was ok but I usually order another cut of meat that is leaner but that wasn't on the menu here. The salad was larger than expected so I didn't finish the meal but I rarely do. I was given both a to- go box and a tea to go. I almost returned for dinner here later in the week but then wandered around and ended up at their other restaurant at the train station.“
“Great place for live music and people watching. The staff has always been incredible and friendly and the bartenders are some of the best I've dealt with. They do a great job of looking ahead of the line to anticipate the guests needs. Even when the place is shoulder to shoulder packed, you never wait long for a drink. They do a great job booking bands and the shows are always a ton of fun.“
“Came here on a Wednesday for wing night special. I had part teriyaki and part buffalo wings. Service was good and the wings were delicious. Also they had a DJ and we played music bingo. My son won a hat and a 10.00 gift card. Most likely will go back!Parking: Very little street parking. We parked in the back in a dark lot and came in the back door. Back door you walk by the grease trap and the stuff you usually don’t see at a restaurant. I felt it was not ideal.Kid-friendliness: Kids seemed very welcome here. Had food for kids as well.“

“My friends, 3 of them, came in from out of state to celebrate my business opening. There were 5 of us in total that went to have lunch at the brewery. It was a beautiful day out, so we opted to sit out on the patio. We made a great choice because it was perfect out there. It was made even better by the salads and burgers we all ordered. The burgers were cooked to perfection and the salads were huge! I ordered a cider and my other friend ordered an old fashioned, along with out sweet tea's with lemon of course. The service was great, the food was great. I was truly proud to bring in people who aren't from this area, and have such a great experience at GFB. That's their first impression of Granite Falls, NC and GFB did not disappoint!! Thanks y'all, for helping me entertain my friends and giving us a place to kick back, talk about old, memories, make some new ones, and catch up on our live in a fun, peaceful, unhurried, special environment. “The service is wonderful & everyone is so friendly. Most of the food is what you'd expect of a pub, some a little more creative, all absolutely delicious, & portions are very large. The mixed drinks are very well made. Everything is reasonably priced. The ambiance is cool both in & outside. The location is completely unexpected. I lived right up the street from this place for a good while without even knowing it, and the game nights are super fun so we will definitely be making lots of return trips!!“
