“First time trying Rainbow Restaurant, and the food was okay! The service was impeccable. Everything was brought out hot and ready! I ordered a chicken salad, which the waitress told me all the dressings are made in-house. The thousand island was tasty. The appetizer was also really good.“
“Breakfast would have been a 5 star but the Turkey sausage felt like rubber and the onions were not cook in the cornbeef hash just thrown on top. Service excellent charge for sausage remove once the waitress notice it was not eaten and she was very nice.“
“I’m a repeat customer that loves the food especially the breakfast meal which is served all day long. The catfish is delicious, tender and not greasy. Everything I’ve had is great so far. The place hums with overflow of customers making seating sometimes hard to get without waiting. (Might have to get a bigger place somewhere) staff is friendly, service is quick unless the place is full, then you might have to wait an extra minute or two. Restrooms are extremely clean. Portion sizes are good, prices fair. ( Wish management would install a news channel with close captioning on one side of the dinning room instead of cartoons on both sides. Us old folks like to watch the news when having breakfast.“
“Great food! Large portions!! My only critique is that the waitress did not say their name. This will develop a rapport with customers and will exceed expectations rather than asking the usual question "What will you have to drink?" Nevertheless, I will return.“
“It is an old school restaurant with great food. They have a menu with a lot of choices including a great breakfast selections. They also have a buffet line in which they serve you.On the buffet they offer 4 meat choices and eight or ten vegetable choices. I had Country style steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and greens. It was one of the best meals I have had this month. This is a great southern style restaurant with excellent Mediterranean choices also.Go and check it out!“
“This is a nice little place off Rt 85. The chow is super. There were 3 of us and we all got the buffet. The mashed taters and gravy was awesome. They had Salisbury Steak and meatloaf that just begged for the gravy. I could have drank a gallon of it. They had okra, spinach, broccoli and green beans for all you veggie needs. There was cheese sauce too. There were also mashed sweet potatoes and mac-n-cheese. Sweet potatoes were good. Mac-n-cheese was ok. There was a carving station with roast beef (and gravy), ham, turkey, and fried chicken. The fried chicken was really good. The roast beef was ok. Good flavor but a little dry. Ham and turkey were good. They had various desserts and a salad bar. Salad bar items were fresh and crisp. Service was outstanding. The price was a real delight. Will totally be back.“
“Man that jambalaya pasta is life changing. Were otw. Weve been several times since the last time weve had it and weve been craving it. Cudos to the chef. The chicken bacon ranch pasta was amazing last time. My favorites are the Jambalaya pasta, Teriyaki chicken stir fry, the Salmon is always on point, and the salad bar, its got alot of fixings but im so simple when it comes to salad. Give me fresh crisp lettuce, crunchy cucumbers, tomatoes with a stiff bite, good ham, and some egg and cheese and its a wrap. We have a big family so we frequent buffets all over nc and sc. Spiros by far is the champ. absolutely no competition on taste or creativity. I like to call it the buffet with higher class food and taste. If you havent been here its ok, its just means more for me. My only gripe about anything would be that id like a desert bar that complimented the drive and excellence that is put into the hot bar. I know Cherry cheesecake, dirt cake, and banana pudding are southern staples but something diferent would be nice. Maybe some fresh cobblers and ice cream. Overall i still give this place a 1000 out of 10. No other buffet even compares within 100 miles or more and the price is excellent. Its costs us less to come here than it does for me to fix one of my big meals at home. And i dont have to slave prepping anf preparing food“
