“Becky’s & Mary’s Restaurant, located in High Point, offers a delightful selection of dishes. Their fried chicken is exceptional, complemented by flavorful cornbread and a delightful sweet yam. Occasionally, they feature turkey neck and gizzard, which are equally enjoyable for those with a taste for such fare. However, it’s important to note that their cuisine leans toward richness, with generous use of butter and sugar. Opinions on this establishment tend to be divisive: some patrons adore the food, while others find it less appealing. I recommend experiencing it firsthand to form your own judgment. Please be aware that this establishment operates on a cash-only basis and is situated in a neighborhood. While some may perceive the area as questionable, I personally have not encountered any issues during lunchtime visits.“
“Omg so I decided to try this place after it was recommended by a friend, let me just say I’ll be back for lunch tomorrow and bringing home extra! The lady who took my order was also very sweet, she listed all the sides for me and their was so many I didn’t want to make her repeat them all again so I found a menu and chose from there. I’m not a fan of pork fatback cabbages so the spicy cabbages they had were mmm so good, the greens were tangy just how I like and the Mac and cheese don’t get me started on that, I just about ate my whole serving before I pulled out of the parking spot and almost turned back for more, I can’t wait to come back and try more of their food! Don’t forget to wash it down with their lemonade which is just how I like it sweet! If they were open later I’d come back today with my family for dinner! They don’t disappoint!“
“Found CoKus Kitchen on Facebook! I've ordered three times and I can't complain! The mac and collards are ALWAYS on point. All their side items are delicious. I love the chicken wings! Support this local business if you get the chance. You won't be disappointed!“
“We just had the most enjoyable first dining experience at Kim's Kafe, and want to rave about it. The staff was so kind, and let me tell you... the food was AAAHH MAZING. The chicken was the best I've ever had! We were able to meet the owner, and she was so kind and shared her incredible story with us! It was a pleasure, and we look forward to going back soon!“
“This is one of my favorite spots located inside The City Kitch on Milner Drive. I supported this place through all the changes but one thing for sure, the quality of the food has not changed. It’s very filling and flavorful. The menu does rotate so please follow the Facebook page Denoris Soulfood and call to place your order. Right now she’s open Thursday-Sunday. This is definitely one place to support and you get a lot of food for the price. So far as the sides unless indicated she does not cook with pork in her vegetables if you need a vegetarian option. Check her out, you will not be disappointed. I hope you love it as much as I do.“

“Everytime I've gone here the food was great. Yes there is a wait but what do you expect from a place with good food. They always draw a crowd. The wait is understandable. The greens are totally full I mean full of flavor. To say their food has no taste you must have bad taste buds. The pasta is by far my “
