“After an event at the hotel I had the opportunity to eat at the bluestone restaurant. Marla and Jerome were awesome! They were extremely busy but still found a way to be courteous and made sure the food came out in a decent time. The brussel sprouts were very good, definitely worth a try!“

“Have driven by so many times and finally experienced the outdoor dining last night on a beautiful evening. The food was delicious (even thought they had run out of the rice and beans we were excited to try - just a great reason to go back!) Loved the drinks we tried, and we even splurged with some ice cream at the end. Service was fast and friendly. Now we just wish we had gone sooner!!“

“Aside from the amazing staff/ownership, the outstanding beer selection and great food consider the fact that they have received 10 consecutive inspection scores of 100.0 which is unheard of! That matters! Think about the last time the tap line was cleaned at your current choice of bar or restaurant. Tap lines are nasty if not maintained. On any given day at TCP you will see them cleaning the line when they change a keg. If you have not seen this at your current top choice you may want to think about what's in your glass. It is not pretty! Oh, and the tap lines are not inspected. TCP does this because it's the right thing to do!!“

“I recently photographed a wedding at The Honeysuckle Tea House, and while the rain kept me from exploring the grounds as much as I’d have liked, it’s clear this is a unique and charming venue. The rustic, cozy atmosphere inside made for a warm and inviting setting despite the weather, and the surrounding greenery added a beautiful, natural backdrop. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the event, which made the day run smoothly. I can only imagine how lovely the outdoor areas must be on a clear day—definitely a venue worth considering for anyone wanting a scenic, laid-back space with great hospitality.“

“I'm here from Texas and lived in Mexico City for a little while. Coming to North Carolina，good Mexican food was not an expectation. But last night I saw people standing out in the cold eating by this truck and so I stopped in. Wonderful birria and wonderful people. I will be back - can't wait to taste the rest of the menu.“

“Shamefully it’s my family’s first time eating here despite being longtime Durhamites. Ordered takeout for my mom’s birthday and it was great! Order was ready when I requested and it actually stayed very warm the entire time I traveled back home (about 15 minutes away). I got a breakfast sandwich with fried egg, turkey sausage, and cheese on an English muffin. I was pleasantly surprised that it actually had not one but two turkey sausage patties in it! Not to mention the egg and perfectly melted cheese. Mom enjoyed her Perfect Big Bull Breakfast as well. Will definitely be back soon!“

“The food was amazing and fresh, but the service was okay but not welcoming or helpful. They didn't help when trying to order, we were the only ones there and just placed our food on the counter not saying a word to us (we were not sitted where the counter was in eyesight) that it was ready. When arriving we didn't know if we were supposed to sit on our own or wait to be seated and once we just sat we didn't know we were supposed to go up there to order at the counter. Nothing there was clear at all, BUT the food was good.“

“This Starbucks is my favorite location. The baristas are starting to recognize me as a regular, their wait times are usually pretty fast and consistent, and I’ve witnessed firsthand their ability to keep calm and collected while dealing with difficult customers. I’m leaving a review today specifically to say thank-you for the kindness they showed me this morning when I had to abandon my drinks in the drive through because of a long wait time. For whatever reason, all of Durham decided this was the place to be. They ended up being absolutely slammed and I spent over 30 minutes in the drive through after placing my order through the mobile app. I finally had to just get out of line as I was late for an event at my son’s school. I came back after the event - at least two hours later - and explained what happened. I asked if there was any way I could either get a refund or if they wouldn’t mind making my order now, and they were so kind and joyful and remade my whole order. It wasn’t even their fault or mistake; I’m the one that ordered and then left, but they remade it anyway and happily. This is my anecdote for today but this is the service I have always consistently received at this location. Love the Tower Blvd Starbucks!“
