This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. I walked into the waffle house in Hillsborough, NC to order my mom and I a plate and they wouldn't even take my order. I picked up a menu and before I could even look at it, the lady said, "We can't help you, you have to order online" and pointed to the sign behind me with a QR code stuck to the glass. My husband and I walked in and was greeted with the cook looking at us and rolling his eyes and saying oh my god. He turned back towards the grill all the while muttering something else under his breath. I told my husband that we could just go somewhere else. There were only 3 full tables and 1 person sitting at the counter. All the tables had their food so it wasn’t like he was cooking anything at the time.
