“Great spot for a family stop in holden beach! Tons of flavors, and fast friendly service. Prices seem very fair for, especially for a touristy area. Our group preferred the ice cream over the Gelato, but there's tons of great options!Parking: Lots of parking in the public lots nearby.Kid-friendliness: Great for all ages!“
“The owners are so kind and their ice cream is honestly the BEST ice cream I have ever had! The flavors are unique, the variety of choices will have something for everyone, and the taste is homemade and creamy. I have been coming to Holden beach for over 50 years and this will definitely be a regular stop for my family each trip.Parking: Good location and plenty of space .Kid-friendliness: Owner was so sweet to my grandkids and placed a special gummy candy on their ice cream.“
“The best place to get ice cream and other treats in the area. The owner and her grandson were so welcoming when we stopped by and the the owner even sat down to chat with us. Next time I’m in southeast NC, I’m going to pass by for more.“
“Food is great! There are so many good options for food, whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert! The breakfast burritos are amazing, and the lunch is great too. The menu is huge, with burritos, tacos, sandwiches, cheesesteaks, waffles, hot dogs, burgers, pizza bagels, etc. So much to get here, and everything is very good! Definitely check out the Scoop if you are in the Holden Beach area. Great staff as well, super friendly and helpful!“
“I ordered a custom cake for my daughters birthday. I sent the decorator, Kris, a picture of what I was looking for and when I picked it up, it was exactly what I wanted. Great pricing too.. I highly recommend using them for your next party ?“
“As usual the ice cream is still as good as ever. Only one thing wrong with it, I found out from the young women that worked there that they had quit selling strawberry flavors and chocolate flav ors also. She said the only chocolate flavor they right now was hot fudge. I really loved the strawberry with wait walnuts and they don't have those anymore either. They only have dry peanuts and peacans. I don't like those at all.“
“We have always loved this location, but lately the girls working there have horrible attitudes. Today I stopped with the family for milk shakes, and 2 of them were very watery so when we asked if she could just thicken it up she got very "huffy" and rolled her eyes at me. When her coworker seen the milkshake sitting there and asked what was wrong she replied very snotty..."its to watery" like she was mocking me. She was very unprofessional and her customer service needs improvement. This is the only issue I've ever had at this store.“
“It's an oceanside pizza parlor and arcade, so it doesn't have great "atmosphere", but if you take your food out the back thru the arcade, you can eat it outside about 50 yards from the ocean. Their pizzas have more toppings than any pizza parlor I've ever eaten at, especially The Breakers' Special pizza. They also sell hand scooped ice cream, and are generous with their scoops. The people that own it and run it don't smile a lot, but the service is almost always excellent, so don't let that get in the way of a good experience. Only real negative is the parking. There's only 2 spots in front of the building, so you usually have to park across the street, which is free. DON'T park in the lot next to the bldg, as that's emergency access for EMTs. Parking at the OIB Pier parking lot MAY be OK, but check the signage as before 6pm there's probably a charge to park there. I recommend WALKING to Breakers if you can, so you get great food and good exercise.Kid-friendliness: No one goes in here expecting a fine dining experience, so kids of all ages, and noise levels, will probably be fine here. They do have a high chair.“
“What fun! Fairly priced and beautifully kept grounds. We felt welcomed and enjoyed ice cream after all 18 holes (one in victory, the other in consolation). They have a really cool photo wall where they have family photos of yearly regulars all the way back to the 80s :)“
