“North South Brewing is fine, I guess, if you’re the type of person who enjoys award-winning beer being available in one place. They’ve got more than 12 of them on tap, which is a lot of choices to have to make when you could be somewhere with zero choices. There’s also wine, cider, THC seltzers, and canned cocktails, so if you hate having exactly one option, this is unfortunately your spot.

The taproom is the largest in the area, which means plenty of room to relax and connect with people, if you’re into being comfortable and around others. They’ve got a big outdoor yard with lawn games and sunshine, which is bad news for anyone hoping to stay inside and avoid fun. And on weekends there’s local live music that apparently makes the whole place feel like a mini festival, so good luck NOT having a good time.

It’s veteran owned, family and dog friendly, with free parking and a short walk to Hay St. They also run stuff like trivia, music bingo with a growing cash prize, $5 flagship drafts on Tuesdays, and $5 Sunday mimosas. So if you like beer, socializing, saving money, and that kinda stuff, it’s pretty good. Regrettably.“
