“Some of the best service I have had in Charlotte for 5 years that I've been here. Ciara and Casey make the place feel like home. Nini and nay make he kitchen taste like a cloud and heaven. The fried rice with pot roast is literally out of this world. Don't take my word for it go and taste it. They are always attentive and for a dive bar always equipped to not only handle but have the staff to get things done. I adore this place for making it feel like had somewhere to unwind when I felt the world was against me. So please check it out.“

His team prepared all the food and it was fabulous, seasoned to perfection, on time and did not disappoint. I will use Showmars in Monroe for my next event. So happy, I made the right choice, everyone enjoyed everything absolutely delicious.“

“I have always taken my mom to the Golden Corral in Mathews for Thanksgiving since my grandmother passed and this is the cleanest and best Golden Corral I’ve ever been in. The manager runs such a great crew on busy holidays and he overlooks the dining room constantly making sure everybody is happy with service. He communicates very good with everybody and will help out his crew with any service someone needs. Such a great manager during these holiday times and me and my mom really appreciate this guy and all of his crew“

“Fried Chicken is the best we’ve had since moving here 17 years ago, Mac& Cheese was creamy and delicious, Sweet Potato Tots dusted with Cinnamon and Sugar were yummy and the Jalapeño Cornbread was sweet and moist with just the right amount of peppers, service was good and our sweet tea was kept filled. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!“

“So, I left this same review on Google, but I feel it needs to be seen in more places! Golden Corral in Monroe, NC, thank you for giving us that taste that most Golden Corrals have lost! Wife and I stopped in for lunch on a work trip. Honestly we had lost all hope in Golden Corrals, but something made me choose this one today. Wife and I were very surprised when we first came in contact with the cashier, and she actually had a pleasant attitude. Next, we grabbed our plates and headed to the buffet. The food had just been brought out. Normally an issue at these stores, the food sits there too long, so I figured it was just stroke of luck with them just bringing food out. So anyway, we got our first plates, and OH MY GOD, that first bite took us back to what Golden Corral was in the 90s!! This food was AMAZING!! Including the mashed potatoes that another comment said tasted bad. I counted at least 3 times they brought fresh food out of the back. We were there on a hour lunch. So yes, they kept food fresh! All the food was great! And our server….on point with everything. We didnt have one empty glass, and dirty plates didnt stay on the table long at all, she was also very friendly! I dont know whats with all the comments bashing this place, but our experience today was beyond what we hoped for. THIS is the way all Golden Corral stores need to be!“

“I visited The Flying Biscuit Labor Day weekend which alines with the Matthew's Alive Festival. I was fully prepared to wait for a table and have an extended wait for our food and beverages given the festival bringing thousands of people to the area but that was not the case. We were seated immediately (the hostess were great and very accommodating!) on the outdoor patio with a great view of downtown Matthews. Stacey, our waitress, was great! She was kind, funny, and never rushed us. Our drinks were delicious and food was great. Pricing was comparable to other breakfast spots and the option for a togo coffee was the cherry on top to a fantastic breakfast.

My party consisted of 3 adults and one baby. The high chair that was provided fit the baby well and was clean.“
