“Love the breakfast food and menu options. I'm a simple breakfast kinda guy, eggs, meat, side and I'm good to go. On those heavy breakfast days, add pancakes. All these items taste great and available. Grab a biscuit sandwich version to go and I'm set for lunch as well.“

“The brunch menu was diverse. I had the crab benedict with a side of potato hash. My daughter had the fried green tomato benedict with fruit. The food was presented well, delicious, and the portions were reasonable. I will not wait very long to go back as I highly recommend New South Kitchen & Bar for weekend brunch.“

“It was a neat restaurant. The staff was really nice. The menu sounded really good. We ordered off the brunch menu, and the order was wrong. That isn't really the issue because everyone makes mistakes, we understand that for sure. The food taste was there, but it didn't come out as advertised in so far as what was supposed to be on it even though it was the wrong menu item. The food was not hot either. Again, everyone makes mistakes, so we are going to give it another shot. I feel like maybe they may have been overwhelmed or short-handed in the kitchen. I'm looking forward to trying again and having a little better experience the next time around.“

His team prepared all the food and it was fabulous, seasoned to perfection, on time and did not disappoint. I will use Showmars in Monroe for my next event. So happy, I made the right choice, everyone enjoyed everything absolutely delicious.“

“Fried Chicken is the best we’ve had since moving here 17 years ago, Mac& Cheese was creamy and delicious, Sweet Potato Tots dusted with Cinnamon and Sugar were yummy and the Jalapeño Cornbread was sweet and moist with just the right amount of peppers, service was good and our sweet tea was kept filled. Absolutely no complaints, highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!“

“Omar (the Manager) and Alex (our waiter) was excellent. We celebrated my niece’s birthday after church. Omar came by several times and checked in on us. Alex made sure the plates were removed from the table when done and we didn’t run out of drinks and provided the attention to us that was needed. They both really made our lunch even more special with their service. Their kindness and hospitality didn’t go unnoticed.“

“I really like this place. I will come to this restaurant whenever I am in Matthews. The service was supreme - I got a Bisquit to go with Apple Butter. I didn't have to ask for the Apple Butter! Both the Bisquit and Apple butter were delicious. The Apple butter had a nice smooth tangy and spicy taste like they made it themselves. and they made sure I was taken care of quickly.“
