Granted there was a large party in the side dining area, but that should not have affected our group of 4. We could barely get the waiters attention while drinks and food were slow to arrive at our table. Tonight it wasnt apparently busy. I took longer than it should have for our food to come out of the kitchen. However, my boyfriends meal was made incorrectly. The waitress knew it was wrong and brought it to the table anyway. She asked my BF if he wanted the incorrect order. He said no, so she had the kitchen remake his order. Meanwhile, I ate my dinner leisurely. The remade order didn't arrive for another 30 minutes by which time I was done with my meal. We asked for a to go container and left. My BF didn't expect me to continue sitting there while he tried to enjoy his meal. We have been regulars there for the last few months, going once every week or two. The food is great and the spicy margaritas are da bomb, but after this, we will take our business elsewhere.“

“Went in yesterday and a diner had her dog sitting with her in the chair as she ate at the bar. I was told the dog had a "certificate," which people can get for 99 cents online if they want to impose their "emotional support" dog on other people in restaurants. Restaurants and coffee shops need to follow NC code, which allows service dogs but not emotional support pets. I left and I doubt I will go back, but I will miss the onion rings and local atmosphere. It's a good place if you don't mind eating with dogs. But I'm done with this nonsense.“
“We often forget about Porterhouse because there are so many burgers in this town, but we really enjoy everytime we go there. The food is very good, and they have some unique things that stand out - recently they've change their menu to be a little less unique which is a shame but I understand the need to make business decisions and it seems like everyone in town has changed their menu this past winter. The service is always friendly although they always seem a bit understaffed which means their servers are working pretty hard sometimes. We frequently go to Porterhouse for birthdays or in other small groups as they have something for most people and are fairly priced.“

The only problem I had that it was a little expensive. The menu on line with the prices need to be updated, because it is a different price than what is at the restaurant. Next, there was an immediate greeting from the front staff while entering. My significant other and I were seated immediately. I'm impressed because the waitress (India) established a rapport by giving her name. Most servers just ask "What will you have to drink?" India gave suggestions and recommendations as to what to order. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. She also mentioned specials prior to us ordering. “I was in the Greensboro area and wanted to try something I’ve never had so I pulled in the Freddy’s. They probably thought I was silly but seeing as I’ve never been there I told them I needed to know what was delish? A girl sitting outside said try the #1 so that’s what I tried.I loved it/the fries were like potato sticks and so hot and good. My chocolate concrete thing was sooo yummy. “Ok everyone why all the shade? Let's get real. This place was delicious. I should've taken photos but didn't because we were so into eating our meals. That says something these days. We had long wondered about the burger joint tucked on the corner. Signage was always lacking to truly tell what it was, if it's open, and access from the main road is hard. That's really this place's only flaw we could find. If they fix the wayfinding and awareness marketing, this is a GEM! We dined in. Drive thru wasn't busy, but we wanted a sit down experience. It was clean, bright and inviting. Yes, there are POS systems to order. We however were welcomed at the counter to order, ask questions, and given good overall service that was working hard to get our order right to ensure we had the correct toppings and sides. Food was fast, fresh, and frankly, one of the best fast food burgers for the price we have had! Soft sesame seed bun? Check. Actually frame broiled where you see the flames? Check. Nice patty size? You got it. Basically anything you could want. We were especially thrilled with the tempura green beans, add a side of their boom boom sauce. Healthier substitute for fries and oh-so-tasty! Seriously GO HERE. Make it a HABIT. You'll understand. You just have to be diligent in getting to the building and I promise it's worth it. We will be back!“
