“We visited Granny’s Country Kitchen for breakfast this past week while on vacation in Carolina Beach. It was so good! The staff is very nice and very attentive. I ordered the 2 eggs and meat plate and got country ham with it and a gravy biscuit instead of the grits. My son got French toast and he loved it. We ate inside but there is also an area outside with picnic tables to eat. We will definitely visit here the next time we stay in Carolina Beach.“

“Have lived down here for 5 years. This is the first time we came to Oliver's, and we were not disappointed.! The food was amazing. The server jacqueline, really hustled and bustled with a smile on her face and very, very sweet! My husband is a diabetic and also on dialysis, and has to watch his intake on certain things. And they did his French fries without salt, like we asked, and instead of frying the catfish, he baked it . If I could give jacqueline, a higher than 5 stars. I would .“

“Fried mushrooms good & hot(bear batter) ordered chicken fried chicken, was tender. Friend ordered liver/onions said was good. Nice & thin. Fried okra was over cooked and asked for gravey on side but put on mashed potatoes (not a big deal, just not how I asked) waitress didn't check on us at all until we were done,(was not busy at all so it wasn’t bc of to many patrons) didn't offer dessert mistake bc we were going to get cheesecake to go..also could hear cussing from the kitchen as well as waitresses complaining about how many times the chef rang the bell(yes it was excessive, but not what patrons need to hear)
Do love this place, it's been a min since I'd eaten there so maybe it's bc the ppl were new to me.“
