“The service here is excellent. They have a new chef, and the menu has changed completely in the last few months. Shannon was a wonderful server: friendly and efficient. We went in on an off-season afternoon for a very early dinner, hungry from hiking all day. We ordered the grilled octopus appetizer, which was very good and cooked perfectly. Hubby ordered the sea bas and loved it. I was torn between the duck confit and squid ink linguine, and seriously wish I had chosen the linguini, but unfortunately, I chose wrongly. The duck was dried and overcooked, and tasted old. Such a disappointment, as our server said it was supposed to be really good. The 4 stars is because everything else was very good. Recommend this place but skip the duck.“
“Tremendous experience. Food was outstanding and reasonably priced. Service was even better. My first time at this restaurant. We were lucky to get a same day reservation. Will dine here again before they close for winter. Definitely recommend.“
“This is a nice little Italian restaurant tucked away near the mountains not too far away from a lot of waterfall attractions and scenic overlooks.Food was really good and fresh, I just wanted to say thank you to the staff that was there. That accommodated us an hour before closing! We Came from the Charlotte Metro area to go to the shadow of the bear scenic overlook. After we were done we came by around 7:00 to get some food before we packed up. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for pizza or any pasta dish. Prices are a little on the heavier side. I will admit but can't complain considering it's probably one of the best spots in the area! The Baked Penne and Meatballs were fantastic and I wished I had a bigger appetite for the pizza!!“
